McLaren Number Plate Fixing
Discussion
Strange one here and I have never had this problem before with mid / rear engined cars (R8, Noble, Lotus's, GT2) but I simply cannot get my number plates on my 12C to stay on!
Have used exactly the same padded tape as historically but due to the slight curve of the plates (front and rear) they simply won't stay in place.
Rear one fell off for the 3rd time at the weekend after I had parked the car in the garage after a run out.
Have even tried to heat them up with a heat gun and bend them to the shape of the bumper but still not playing ball.
What does everyone else use?

No problems with the flat rears, but the front one on my 570s constantly pinged off especially in the warmer weather.
I found that the front plat eventually held if it was taped in place for a full day as the adhesive on the tape seams to need some time to go off. I also heated and bent the plate to reduce the flex.
