Well, a bit of entertainment for you.
Who can tell me what's underneath this badge and why?

Poorly cut double sided tape, that badge may of been off and put back one badly. Who can tell me what's underneath this badge and why?

McLaren badges are stuck on, it's the way that it's done these days as it's easier, cheaper and saves weight.
Looking at that material it looks to have a thickness and a different material in the middle of it, which to me at least indicates that it's double sided stciky stuff that has just been cut very badly by the person re-applying the badge.
Vinyl wrap material wouldn't have layers like that, it's just a fairly thin amount of vinyl.
Has the car had a front end PPF fitted? That would explain the badge being removed.

Yes was wrapped in black, confirmed, but I am told badge clips from behind, not glued....cmon guys, have you got a McLaren or dreaming of owning an aircraft?
Or are you seriously thinking an OEM would put some tape to stick a badge on a car? Maybe only a stupid and bad dealer would do that. Not even, it would have been too stupid.

I thought you said the car was brand new from the factory, according to the dealer? Who said it has been wrapped?
How many miles does the car have on the clock?
Have you spoken to the dealer about it? What was their explanation/reasoning?
Are you a prospective buyer and this is what is putting you off ‘pulling the trigger’?

Then you were told wrong on two fronts, firstly if it's been wrapped then it's not new.Or are you seriously thinking an OEM would put some tape to stick a badge on a car? Maybe only a stupid and bad dealer would do that. Not even, it would have been too stupid.

Secondly as has already been mentioned they are stuck on like the majority of manufacturers do now.
Check out this video from 1:50, no badges and no holes...

Thank you, that is a 650S.
Porsche badge is clipped/screwed, I was based on that.
Unless there is an hole underneath the bar code sticker (if I see it right...), you're right. That's the reason I opened this thread and asked for help, finally some facts!
Then an other lie from the same circus of people which I don't want to disclose yet.
Just want to say, gents be careful where you put your money in Macca, I am seeing things which are scaaaaary.
