Some of you might recall my Volcano Red 650 Spider that did 19k miles in 2 years all over Europe.
We loved that thing, it coped with everything we threw at it, including some pretty bad unclassified roads all over Europe.
And the colour was just EPIC.
Though the front end always felt a bit vague and there was very little drama to driving it.
So it was was with great trepidation we upgraded it to a 675LT spider.
It took some hunting and haggling as we were adamant it needed to be a full leather interior.
Eventually we got a great deal on this beast in May.

I did 1k miles round my local roads over the next few months getting to know it.
The P Zeros were crap, they went for MSP4S's and it needed a geo.
But what a machine, it really is a very very different car to the 650.
We had a 2 week driving trip to the Ardeche booked for a long time and I was a little concerned how it and the wife would cope with 6-7 hour driving days to the get there and back.
It did 2.5k miles with no issues what so ever.
The locals loved it even the coppers! (no fines just photos!)
So pleased with it and glad we held out for a leather interior, two weeks with the roof down and the it is a mess inside. Soon sorted with a vacuum and wipe down.
On the motorways is cruised along doing 29 mpg with very little extra NVH compared to the 650.
On the back roads it did a full Jekyll and Hyde turning in to a tarmac devouring monster gobbling up the twisties.
The wife now loves it more than the 650 and I'm struggling to justify to myself why I NEED a 750LT wink
Get out and use them boys they are great pieces of British engineering that need to be appreciated.
Just a few pics for those that like them!

Our digs for the stay, interesting drive!

Some of the unclassified roads got a bit too narrow!

The scenery was well worth it though!

Absolutely terrific pics - love the Millau shot - drove the missus mad a few years back - drove over it, under it, round it - 4 times smile

Great British engineering design - just like the McLaren smile
