Always lots of people saying what the price should be but try finding one at their theoretical price..........I know from experience it's not possible
Yep just like the Porsche GT threads.
I agree too, it’s getting silly on PH lately.

I’d love to be proved wrong though.

Gents, if the below car is for sale and has been for months with a higher spec and 5k less miles for £209k where would you value the blue car at?

https://www.romansinternational.com/used-vehicle-d...

Do you really think talking up depreciating assets on pH is going to prop up values?

Try to look at it from the view point of you looking to buy the car and what you would be happy to pay given what's available out there with less miles and higher spec.

Any 720 with over 2k miles seems to be a hard sell let alone one with almost 6k, it therefore needs to be priced to sell.

No opinion on values here, but it really is a sad reflection on the market if >2k miles is too much, and even worse at 6k.

Seriously, what is the point in owning such a car if you can't drive it? Such ashame.

As an advocate of this I agree.

The issue here is most owners think that you can put a st load of miles on a car, price it at the same or slightly less than others and it's going to sell.

Unfortunately the reality is the markets over saturated with choice and if you want to play, your going to have to pay and price accordingly to sell.

It was pretty awful four months ago. I can imagine it's even worse now.

Red is not my colour, but I would take the red one over the blue one all day long. However, it would not then be long before an extra zero was on the mileage. I have the radical notion that cars like this should be driven, you know, taken out of the garage and onto the road. Odd concept, I know.

A few aspirational PHers obsessed with car values are not "everyone" I reckon the majority of people who can afford to shell out £250K on a depreciating toy have their eyes wide open and are enjoying themselves immensely driving this amazing car - I'll be coming up to 20K miles this time next year hehe

Your preaching to the converted my friend.

I put a thousand miles on my perf spyder within 10 days of picking it up, by the time I'm done it will be worthless biggrin

I bought mine brand new and have 5,300 miles on it.

To all the people here obsessed with mileage and depreciation and how these cars are “overpriced” - I have only one way thing to say:

GO JUMP OFF A fkING CLIFF AND LEAVE THE REST OF US TO ENJOY OUR CARS.

Some of us, shock horror, actually buy our supercars to drive and enjoy. The people who whine the most on PH are the idiots who either can’t afford them or should never be allowed to buy them as they’ll constantly be complaining about depreciation.

Mine’s not being replaced until the spider comes out as no other car comes close and I’m enjoying every minute.

To the OP: buy the colour and spec you want and enjoy. Ignore all the morons who predict doom and gloom. wink

P.S. My colour is called Mauvine Blue and and it’s epic. biggrin

Mine? I got it from McAscot back in March.

My friend did a YouTube video of it along with my Huracan at the same time earlier in the year:

Two epic cars but very different...
