it's not always like that though is it?
people generally move up from something like an rs3 to a porsche then on to something special which is a huge purchase and represents years of hard work. depreciation is a huge factor for someone making their first supercar purchase.
Not quite, depreciation is a huge factor for someone making their next supercar purchase!people generally move up from something like an rs3 to a porsche then on to something special which is a huge purchase and represents years of hard work. depreciation is a huge factor for someone making their first supercar purchase.
Buy the car you want and keep it, then depreciation is not relevant. Really don’t quite understand why people can’t be happy with what they have - just because a new model comes out, does not make the car suddenly less of a car. Some seem to change cars more often than I change phones.
This is all off topic though - I still think the car in the OP looks stunning, I can’t really judge if it is overpriced or not. Could always make a low bid and see if they bite in the current market, winter coming up, higher than average mileage etc. I guess the higher mileage will not necessarily become a resale factor, depending on ownership period and mileage done per year (and if the mileage per year is higher than average, starting off with a cheaper and higher mileage car is probably the financially sensible way)

Going back to the OP about the Paris Blue one at AF Corse, I'd say this one at McLaren Ascot looks better value:

It's £10k more, but has more exterior carbon, all the parking stuff and has the gorilla glass in the door tops. I think it's a shame that the Performance launch spec didn't come with that as it really makes the interior a much more airy place for me.
