Good work folks.
This film from McLaren ( Mileage Man - 81,000 miles and counting ) was released in the summer of 2016, I wonder what he is on now.

You drove 50k miles in a 12c in 3-4 years? Impressive.
It was a shmee mobile before being mine so Tim out a chunk on, but I didn't hold back and did about 15k per year. Funny thing is I have a few other cars to choose from but the Mac always ends up being the one i drive as its so damned versatileSuperleg48 said:

I guess the DBS gets all the love?
It's more of an investment than a weekender - too uncomfortable too! We've only done 900 miles since 2014 in the DBS - most of the cars are unused unless its for the MOT or service and the odd car show.

Of course it is entirely your decision if you choose to invest in some of these vehicles. My view is that they probably will not represent the best investment vehicle (pun intended) and I always feel that it is a crying shame that such magnificent cars just end up sitting in a goldfish bowl of a garage actually deteriorating, since cars respond best to being used rather than just sitting. I hold quite a significant value to the enjoyment and smiles of driving my cars which more than offsets the purely fiscal values that you subsequently lose by using them as they were intended in my mind. I still make a “profit” you see, can never lose. Emotionally if not in pound note terms.
However, we are all different and I do not criticise you personally. We are dead long time, so better live life to the full for the brief window we have to do so.
