Unlike all those only hearing Mac's from the outside and on YT, I'm probably in the minority that think my car sounds pretty good inside the cabin with the rear window cracked open. You get all the higher pitched sounds that you don't on the outside, as well as that nice ascending-pitch roar.

But when I'm not on the go, and the window is shut and in SO mode, there still a not-so-nice intake sound. I have the ISG turned down to 1, the lowest it can go. But can it be turned to zero, so to speak?

You can in effect block them off yes, or remove it and create a pipe to fill the gap, never done it tbh but it wouldnt be that hard.

So not a setting but a physical mod. Will follow up next time the car is in for service.
