Congrats. I had a SG 650S spider a couple of years ago and it remains one of my all time favourites. The only two things I wish mind had which it didn’t were the sports seats and the multispoke superlights which your one has, making it the perfect spec IMHO. Enjoy your awesome car!

Well done, good choice of car!!

Stick it in sports mode, put your foot down and you’ll be blown away.

They are such accomplished car and amazing value right now.

There’s a few that have sold recently so you’ve bought at a great time

Get it scratched
You’ll only regret not buying one.

Thanks guys for vote of confidence
really starting to enjoy this machine.
The way it dissects a B road is incredible
Mustn’t use it too much prior to Going in for machine polish, extensive ppf and a full ceramic coating this week.

What!! you bought a McLaren? Don't you know its going to break and be of zero value by summer? wink

What a beauty!. Congrats from a recent 650s'r. You will NOT regret it. 3 months and 1 track day in - really just beginning to appreciate its full capabilities - and not had the top down yet.

looks great - love those seats and rims
did not like the design when they were launched, but have aged quite nicely in my opinion
enjoy - am sure it will be a blast to drive

I’d imagine I’ll have to pay someone to take it away, and they’ll need a flat bed

Back to reality, agreed machine is awesome ??
It’s going to get exercised regularly.
First ever convert so hardly had the hood up yet
Cheers

Yes the carbon touring buckets , superlights and stealthy colour were the main reasons for plumping.

Very nice, looked at your car two weeks ago and test drove the black one at ascot, tempted by the blue one at phantom cars in wigan but only 5 months warranty and they won't take a penny off, even though it has been sitting there 6 months! And its 5 hours drive away.
At 135k a 570 spyder is possible, but I have not test driven one yet. Can I ask why you chose this 650 over alternatives including the 570 spyder?
Starting my own thread in a minute as I am stuck in regards to what to buy..too much supercar choice!

Lambo

Firstly thank you for not buying mine 😉

Agree the blue car is a good carbon spec and mileage but for that 15 car with 20 weeks mc warranty , feels top dollar.

Drive both and decide yourself, I drove track pack 570 spider with carbon seats and a couple of 650 spiders and finally my car and made the decision based on :
The way it felt to drive.
The magic ride suspension
Aero and sound :more drama.
The older car may/should be well resolved,
Far fewer on the road .
They now Cost less, and at 3 years old, are further down the depreciation slope.

Both great but different cars.

😉 good luck
