Slightly o/t but CH picked the 600LT over the Ferrari on Top Gear this week, even though it was a tad slower it drove better.
TX.
In my opinion, it wasn't a fair comparison. It should have been up against the 720S, but even then, the 720 isn't really track focussed, but I reckon would still be better than the Fez performance wise (not as driver entertaining tho). When they release the 765LT, that will be a different story. TX.

Yes, and we do have the 800LT - it’s called the Senna Are they going to make an LT model of the 720S? The 720S has been out for quite a while now, and the LT models for newer models have been released....?

Well not quite, the "LT" models are "hot" versions of the super series lineup, whereas the Senna, like the P1, is just a standalone model. It's also far more expensive than any other LT model!

Agree a bog standard 720S would have been a fairer comparison even to the track focused Pista (if same tyres, and non factory cars.....because....well you know....Ferrari).
600LT gave away 120hp to Pista. Complete mis-match.
765LT will just be unfair to a Pista, as would the Senna
the pista only had 9bhp more than the gt2 rs and smashed it though600LT gave away 120hp to Pista. Complete mis-match.

also it was quicker than the 12-GT3 driven on slick tyres - 01:12.7 v 1:13.2 but the senna got absolutely hammered by the 650s gt3 on ch's test!

And yet every other review I have read have said it's a brilliant bit of kit.....Grand Tour, Henry Catchpole/Carfection, Autocar....also it was quicker than the 12-GT3 driven on slick tyres - 01:12.7 v 1:13.2 but the senna got absolutely hammered by the 650s gt3 on ch's test!

Sorry to hear of that, At least they have been decent enough to give you a loaner - a lot of others are not as lucky!
So, it's back complete with chipped mirror casing, bumper paint chip repair forgotten but at least I have it and it's been beautifully repaired. Can't fault the workmanship just the time it took to turn it round. Interesting to compare the S against the GT loaner I had which is noticeably softer all round from the ride to the engine response which makes for a marginally more comfortable cruiser, still feels bloody quick though and the lower top speed is irrelevant these days.
Great great cars and I can't get over the positive comments shown by the general public, not so sure a Ferrari would get the same response. If anyone who's looking for a car of this type they really must get to drive one as this just demonstrates how good they really are.
This seems particularly keenly priced (as do their other 570's and the 720)......
