That's far from desperation at that price, it's called proactive marketing which is what all good dealers should be doing especially via a free social media platform. It's got people on here talking so it works.

Main dealers are actively looking for stock at the moment, I hear they've all been busy selling their used stock so need more to sell. It seems Macs at this current price level are selling quickly and this may well stop the depreciation slide we've seen in the last few months.

Can't help thinking that was the part-ex price and someone made an error when loading the advert! They probably left it to someone on work experience and they took the wrong price down or something...lol
