Pretty good value for whom, buyer or seller?

the buyer, it's a lot of car for £70k considering a base 911 with a crappy 360hp is £90k+ with options

I would rather have an accident in a McLaren than a Caterham. Just food for thought
Fair comment. I’d rather not have an accident in either biggrin.

Don’t worry about Devon and silly mid engines carbon fibre motors Jerry smile
I live in the middle of deep farming country Devon, sandwiched between the edge of Dartmoor and Cornwall. My daily is an Alfa 4C.

55,000 miles from new in 2.5 years.

I’ve been thinking about a 4C for a while, I see it as almost like a scaled down McLaren and therefore perfect for Devon (as you demonstrate). Assume you use Vospers in Exeter for service etc? Are they any good?

Don’t be daft - they are an Alfa dealership, of course they aren’t!

No, we all use Jamie and Ben at Alfaworks over in Royston. Yes, that’s just north of Stevenage.

Fair play to you for doing that many miles in a 4C. My ear's are still ringing a year after I sent mine back after just 8k miles in 2 years. Wide car for the roads in Devon I would imagine. Fantastic experience owning one, not all good but mostly memorable.

Pretty much the only other person I know of in the mid engined silly car world who puts the miles on the motors like I do is Christian and his brother in a black 4C. They live on another farm in the arse end of Wales and I think Christian even takes his to the quarry where one of them works!

I’ve been looking at doing the opposite of Jerry and going 650 (spider for me) from the Alfa or even more Man-Maths’ish and looking at the ludicrous values of 720s...

I've gone 600LTS which is like a grown up 4C with proper steering. You wouldn't look back...guaranteed.
