720S - what to look for?

Can you define mushy? I would have thought it is up to track work (by road car standards anyway) given it is light weight. My Scud holds up quite well (tyre limited / need to cool those down after a few laps) and that is a heavier car
Yes they are good by normal road car standards but the Brakes do fade and tyres go off, particularly in warmer conditions although not too disimilar to a 570s but more noticeable imo. Rocketreid said:

Hmm not sure I would agree that you would be mad...there is a significant price difference between a used 720 and a used 570
Sorry I meant used 720 vs new 570, as prices are comparible, yes I know used vs new, but a used 720s is pretty much like new to be honest with the sort of miles & usage these cars getEventually got out yesterday in the 720, it's now on 18,130 miles & not a rattle or squeak, phenomenal ride quality & simply ridiculous power.
Looking forward to some longer drives & drier weather! It does seem a considerable step up from the 650 however I probably need more seat time to be sure.

Do I get it right that you have a new for you 720? Congrats. Indeed I did find the throttle response stronger than a 650 but difficult to use that on open road in our usual wet conditions.Looking forward to some longer drives & drier weather! In fact I may be persona non grata at Mac Manch after I went out with their sales person on drive in one. Wet roads and the car was not fully warm. I thought I was being progressive in fourth when the torque hit very suddenly and the car had a mighty squirm into the adjoining lane.
So after much deliberation I now have the thumbs up to purchase a 720S.
I am considering an 18 or 68 plate as really would like at least 18months warranty.
Mileage wise, less than 5,000, prefer a brighter colour, lift, sports exhaust and some carbon would be nice
So million dollar question what should I have to pay ??

Try to buy a post July 2018 build model with the silver ‘flame / swoosh’ on the badge. They are a ‘facelift’ model with updated software and most issues ironed out.I am considering an 18 or 68 plate as really would like at least 18months warranty.

You would be hard pushed to find a car without the items you list.

Buy in the next 18 days & 150k may well get you what you want. I am considering an 18 or 68 plate as really would like at least 18months warranty.

No harm in making a cheeky offer to a dealer at this time of year!

This ^The silver tick signifies a 2019 model year car (which were actually built from mid 2018 onwards). Visually almost identical to earlier cars apart from the silver ticks though.
