It’s grey stitching yellow belts.
I also have no idea why my pics keep rotating sideways :/

It’s often an apple thing, edit them just a little in “photos” and save them, they then should post correctly. HTHs.

Just a quick update, the car has been totally faultless, I’m still getting used to the attention it brings everywhere I go but it’s all very positive

When I bought the car it had been booked in to Hatfield to have some corrosion issues sorted, however I live near Glasgow so I spoke to Mac Gla about doing it instead, both Hatfield and Glasgow were very helpful in sorting it for that to happen and has just spent a couple of weeks at Glasgow getting the wings sorted, they really are great to deal with and I couldn’t fault them.

Now it’s back just in time for what seems like the worst weather of the year.

One thing I Would like to possibly change is the noise, I have the standard sports exhaust fitted and I wouldn’t say it was quiet, but I would still like a little more volume if anyone happens to be selling a Larini/Quicksilver etc

OP your car looks amazing bow

Just on the exhaust - with it being a track pack, it has the sports exhaust right?

Anyone know if the sports exhaust is the MSO exhaust? Or is the MSO option different to the sports exhaust and if so, on another level sound wise?

Yes the MSO exhaust is made from Titanium so it does sound different to the Normal sports exahust... however, it isnt anything like a Larini exhaust. I actually prefer the MSO Exhaust, my local dealer showed me on and it sounded great, not too loud but certainly had a nice sound to it.

Yes MSO option from memory is a £4700 option, had it on my 570S spider, it sounded fantastic.

You could choose from a chrome finish or a Nano black finish which was I think another £400 on top. The standard sport exhaust is finished in a flat black, so it’s easy to tell if it has the MSO option.

Thanks.

Had a look on the McLaren website and there are three exhausts - standard, sport and MSO.

Yes MSO sounds really good, but inside it's still a bit quieter than what I would like.

Just a quick update, with everything going on I haven’t been using the car much but I do try get it out even if it’s just to go shopping,
It’s booked in to mclaren Glasgow for a service at the end of the month and the warranty is up for renewal. I did notice a little bit of corrosion starting on the rear 1/4 so they will sort that too.

A random stranger pulled in when I was parked and asked to take some pictures of it last week, he kindly emailed me them,

Stunning, are wheels and tyres the standard track pack ones?

Yeah they are the super light weight wheel ( I’m now thinking about getting them redone gloss balck ) and pzero corsa tyres. I actually just had new tyres all round. But next set I will be switching to Michelin’s I think.
