Torn between 600LT Spider and 720s coupe as my next car …seems a good selection of cars between 150-160k. Will need proper drives in both there one Vega blue track pack 720s for sale at an indie which looks v good value at a shade under 150k. From some of the stories on other threads buying from a franchised dealer doesn’t always mean the cars are well prepped . Want to buy with a warranty in place for sure tho.

720S prices are softening for sure at moment you only need to look on PH and AT to see them back sub 150k and some for less. Wilmslow have a Memphis Red 720S LUX in at 149k which is so much car for the money.

I’ve noticed in past month franchised dealers dropping prices on the range, McLaren New Forest have a green 600 LT MSO car it was 175k to weeks ago, then 172k and now 169k. They messaged me on social media offering it at 165k, prices are falling, it’s a nice car but will need new disc I’d say 155k as is or 165k if they properly prep the car and fit new disc.

Spoke to Wilmslow and they said plenty more 600LT still due back from PCP deals and with Winter coming and talks of recession I feel demand will reduce and supply be plentiful won’t be long before we see or hear of people getting into 600LT coupes for 130k and Spiders for 145k region, maybe less.

Just wait I say, in a few months it will very much be a buyers market on most supercars and regular stuff.

Might be remembering it wrong, cars advertised on AT from 139k now and advertised price is always potentially negotiable, the prices are dropping.

I think you are remembering a lot wrong !

McLaren Manchester have a Memphis Red 720s up for £159,000 on AT and on their website so not sure where you are getting you information from but clearly wrong,

From looking at it in their showroom!
But admittedly It may have been 159k, hands up a mistake what else have I remembered wrong?

Anyway the green MSO 600LT car at new forest just found photos of what appears to be that exact same car at JM Imports running over 700+ HP seems a few 600 LT have been tuned in their history, another one to avoid it seems. frown

Once you've bought one I bet you'll change your tune on prices, they'll be the best investments going.biggrin

Ha! Ain’t that the truth… whilst you can’t afford it then it’s all about the justification (excuses); when you’ve bought one it’s all the justifications (excuses) for why you’ve wasted so much money - at the end of the day the lust of us petrolheads is financial folly.

Absolutely agree with the above, everyone told me i was mad when i bought my 570s, telling me i would do my nut on it.

I had never looked at Mclarens so had no idea where the market had been and no idea where it was going, to be fair, nothing looked great coming out of the last lockdown, but, i bought one and have had a great year and a half in it, if that had cost me £10k-£15k and the market slumped which loads predicted would happen i still would be loving the car.

You are a long time dead is all i can say.

Hi there

So found a potential car, checked it out today and it’s in superb condition and absolutely stunning the spec is:

2020 600 LT Spider
Volcano Red
Carbon Louvre front wings
MSO Black Pack
Body colour roof
Diamond cut snow flake wheel design
Black calipers
PPF
P1 buckets with red stitching
Red stitching on dash and doors
12 speaker audio
Carbon and alcantera interior
Motorised steering adjustment column
AC, camera, sensors
MSO carbon sills
11,800 miles
1 previous owner

Owner offered it to me for £155,000 which I think is fair for an MSO car with good spec, I’m a little undecided on colour as only got to see it on a dull gloomy day. Can’t find anything to suggest it’s been remapped or messed with and brakes in good condition.

Perfect specification for me and just need to device if it’s the colour for me, never seen a 600LT before in Volcano Red.

Looks lovely and you’ve said it yourself “perfect specification for [you]” so just go and get it done quickly so you can enjoy some Indian summer open top driving.

Unsold at £117,500:

No one willing to bid 120k plus.

Was just about to post on this ! Hmm an indication of a weakening mkt? …tan interior not helping but still. I mean £125k plus fees leaves you with plenty of wiggle room.

Also warranty expires next month - so not transferable,

Nevertheless a rather eye opening final bid.

Interesting. Basically the same spec as my car (albeit I have linen, not tan, leather). Similar mileage too, although mine is a 2018. Bellwether or outlier?

I'm sure when I looked at it last night (just after reading this) that there was a bid of £130K+?
