McLaren 720S Custom Paint Job
Discussion
Fantastic! I love the combination of colours - somehow subtle but flash at the same time!
Hopefully see it in the "carbon fibre / aluminium" in the not too distant future if lockdown lifting permits ...
Well done for having the balls to do this and congratulations on the result.
I'd imagine this cost a fair bit but I wonder if a simpler paint job would be a feasible thing to do for a used example if one wanted to change the colour or refresh the paintwork. Is the fact it was originally white important to the effectiveness of the repaint?

Well, what has been a 4 week project has now come to an end. I collected the 720S from Paint-Tec in Bristol this morning during what can only be described as typical ste British weather.
I had only seen the car once when some of the body panels had been re-fitted, but to see it when I arrived fully clothed (the car), it looked spectacular. Far better than I imagined. The photo’s and videos don’t show the real extent of the deep gloss and glass flat paint. Really needs to be seen in the flesh to appreciate it.
Big SHOUT OUT to Daniel Hall and Ashley from Paint-Tec in Bristol. Daniel is a McLaren enthusiast and owns a 570S. The passion and skill is evident to see in the finished product.
Anyway, I’m sure you are all bored with my updates, so this will be the last. Good health to you all and stay safe. Here are some videos of the finished car.
P.s. Weather forecast for next week is looking good, predicted 29 degrees in Gloucester.
Videos shot in 4K so don’t forget to change your settings to HD.
