I like to look and explore every now and again, but this one has been for sale for some length of time now, from June/July according to my search and still at the same price

Apart for the price being a mite high, whats the score on the whole price/colour/options that means it simply hasn't sold.

Cheaper ones in the dealer network with better colours imo

Thanks, but apart from one in Blackand one in Grigio i'm not seeing a lot in the dealer network.

More and more people seem to think that the classic rosso cross/crema belongs on classics and doesn't really suit modern cars.
I tend to agree, primarily the crema is what I would avoid.

Thank you, but either way, Grey is not an interesting colour, Black is lovely for 5 minutes, and my C2964 I specifically chose not to have a dark interior as I find it spacially oppresive, hence my questions about the colour and options.

I’d like a California and have been keeping an eye on the classifieds. From what I’ve seen, the red/crema is very popular.

This car doesn’t look like it has the LED wheel which I believe is a desirable option. I also think there’s a bit of a question mark over the pre 2013 DCT which may be putting some buyers off.

Ferrari Edinburgh just sold a TDF Blu 2014 Cali 30 with lots of carbon, 16k miles and full PPF for less than £85k.

Thanks, yes, blue is the second option, though coming from a 964 in GR after 19 years.... well its change isnt it..

Seeing that you wanted opinion on the colours and options then I'd echo this ^^^^^ although the black carpets, piping and stitching modernise the interior somewhat (it would have been a bit too 80s/90s if the carpet had also been red).

As for the options, it's pretty much fully loaded. Nearly all of the interior carbon options are there - vents, bridge and driver zone. Only carbon kick plates are missing. Heated Daytona seats are an option as are the contrast piping, stitch and stitched cavallinos. Exterior options include the 20" alloys, shields and painted calipers. It's unusual to find a Cali this heavily specified.

As for the concerns about the DCT, the car is on the cusp of the tie-wrap change but I wouldn't let that bother you. And it's hard to tell from the photos if the steering wheel has LEDs or not. It would be strange to option the CF wheel without the LEDs.

If you like the colour combo then go for it!

It does have the LEDs. There are more pictures on the dealer's own website.

I had a similar California but recently bought a California T - if I were in your shoes i would try and spend a little more and get a Cali T .
The only thing I miss about the non turbo is that it is louder so feels great cruising at low speed, whereas the Cali T needs to be going some to get a howl out of it - by which time you are breaking the speed limit. .
Apart from that though , if you can spend 90k - 95k ish on a Cali T you will be getting a more modern car with better info / entertainment system, cruise control etc etc - also should have balance of service package and may be easier to warranty. That’s just my contribution, loved the old version, miss the sound of it but the newer T is a much improved car in my opinion - also more powerful and greener !
I’m the ideal world I would have one of each- the non turbo for pottering round town in and the Cali T to take round Europe !

Mind you - if you do want a non turbo - I would recommend my old car, the guy I sold it to has put it up for sale and I’d be happy to hook you up if you DM me. Only done 16k mikes - he might do you a deal - very clean car with full history

How susceptible are the values for higher mileage examples, e.g the one at McLaren Leeds with 47k miles for sub £70k?

I would always pay more for lower milage personally although you may find a good high miler that has a new gearbox in it for example. I generally think that lower milage ones are easier to get ferrari warranty on which I found very reassuring
