How do Ferrari keep getting away with this weight bks? We all know they blueprint cars for the press but surely things like weight have to be verified independently by someone?
There are much worse then Ferrari in under claiming the official weights of their cars. Autocar weighed a well equipped 488GTb at 1535Kg(60kg more then Ferrari's claim) which isn't too bad and similar to Porsche. The worst culprits by far are Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover where magazine test cars typically weigh anything up to 300Kg more than official weight figures. At least Ferrari clearly state that their official weight figures are measured with all lightweight options and in the car's lightest possible configuration.

F8 lighter at 1445Kg vs Artura 1498Kg.
That includes expensive lightweight options though - of which there are quite a few on the F8. If you found the true certified weight (which isn't available to consumers) it will definitely be higher. The 1498KG on the Artura is DIN (all fluids, base car with no options and 90% fuel).
Car looks great, reading the pistonheads article
It looks as though they have prioritised/ looked at what eg Ferrari do in terms of including a long warranty when buying new, that may help protect against the depreciation more than previous models. Have they given a projection year for their first fully electric car?

Saw a few of the Artura at millbrook recently, I thought they looked fantastic. Really tidy, precise lines around the front end and the ‘sunken eye socket’ headlights add poise.
Actually the headlight treatment really works well and reads as less plastic than the last generation.
Drama of the p1 aside, I’d say it’s a better looking car than they’ve made thus far. Although not a huge departure from previous models, it’s notably neater all round.
Shame that the awkward little wing vents need to be there though.
