Don’t mind these but can think of a lot of other things to spend £2.5M on.

The original owner lives near me - has loads of expensive cars - I’ve seen that one in the flesh a few times - not sure why he is selling it

I like Mclarens but I'm not a fan of any of the specials really, the interior of that one is hideous for me, I just don't see the value in them, let's face it they are all the same underneath pretty much from the 12C through to the Elva! Engines vary a bit but all basically the same, a few more cc here, a different turbo there and the chassis is the same, carbon tub a few frame rails and fully active or "normal" suspension and I won't mention the electrics. The cost is in the exclusivity of a few models and thats it!

As I said at the beginning I like them I'm not knocking them, mines great but possibly up for sale soon because I want another one a bit further up the range! The value in them is driving them not sticking in a garage

That interior is magnificent, it looks such a special place to sit and worth every penny.

The exterior on this one looks rather ordinary though, that Burton Blue just does the shape no favours at all.

What a beautiful car. Like most McLarens the cockpit when viewed from above follows a teardrop shape - the most aerodynamic sub-sonic shape.

It's not ugly (see Senna for that title) though it does always remind me of the paint sample models that dealers and body shops sometimes use, you can almost imagine the meeting 'hang on lads I've got a great idea' (this does not mean I don't like McLarens, it's quite the opposite)

Yes. This was an amazing engineering exercise, and the aerodynamic shape that is also functional makes it far prettier to my eyes than only-for-show Italians.
