My experience is largely positive but having spent around £1m on McLarens over the past 6 years I do not feel that I have been treated any better than my local Merc Van centre or Merc UK
Could be worse, you could be black listed after spending near double that because you sold one of your "gt" model Porsches youve had outside the dealer network because they wanted 50% of the premium like a mate of mine.

I couldnt have asked for better service from my main dealer (mc new forest), until it came to trade in/sale time and tbf they couldnt have been less interested, but if thats all ive got to gripe about i can live with it as there are plenty of other options to sell, but it does nothing for enhancing the brands value .

I have had my car a year just had the big service at 22k miles. My experience so far.

Dealer I bought from delivered the car with 6 weeks MOT left on it and no front number plate they had to come back and pick it up to do the MOT.

Dealer support after buying from them non existent.

Client services superb have covered all of my corrosion because of the way the dealership have behaved and also my cracked door hinge.

Issues during service

Cracked door hinge (Covered by client services)

Nose lift noise (Covered under warranty)

Leaking shock and cracked spring (Covered under warranty)

No other issues.

I have just renewed the warranty £2799 was thinking of the Thorney route but as I have had the major service i wanted to keep the provenance of the car by having all Mclaren history so went with the Mc warranty as well.

Ascot Mclaren Cate Parker have been superb for me.

I would beg to differ about ascot. Let’s leave it at that.
