Does anyone know if you can machine wash the indoor car cover?
Assuming it’s the same as the cover for the other super series cars (a fleece type material), yes you can. There will be a care instructions label sewn onto it somewhere. It’s a squeeze to get it into a standard sized washing machine but can be done, I’d then hang it outside to dry naturally.
Thanks

These are becoming very rare on the market now and AB has a few coupe roof snorkel cars up at £300k+.

Good job you bagged a bargain when you did as prices are only going one way from here on in regardless of the general state of the market simply due to the lack of supply of decent spec cars

The 765 is getting a huge amount of praise recently. I haven't driven one but really like the way they look.

I am new to the brand but am absolutely smitten with the 675.

Tomorrow, I am going for an early morning drive here in Spain, excited is an understatement.

There is a full gloss carbon car that has been up for sale for a long time at £439k. I wonder what these are realisticly worth.

Thats the 3rd one i have heard about changing hands off market in past couple of weeks. Seems the well specced ones are selling by word of mouth to mates of mates. I helped with a few such sales myself. Looking forward to seeing yours congratulations

I just went for a beautiful morning drive. It boggles my mind how fast this car is and how anyone with cash can buy one. It really should require a special license.

A 765 must never get floored on the road.

What an amazing car! Its so cool it revs to 8500! I really want to hear one with high flow cats. Must sound unreal.

The only things I can fault on this car is 1) turning radius and 2) sound is good but isn't lambo V10 good or ferrari v12 good.

These are only going one way. I absolutely love it!

Yup...I was speaking to AB the other week and he told me that he had sold more 675's off market recently than ones he has advertised, and at higher prices

Way back earlier in this thread I posted to Brntrubber that I felt that the correct colour and spec 675 would be starting with a '3'.

We are already there now.

In my opinion, the 765 is like a 675 on steroids, but I thought, and still feel, the 675 is going to be viewed as peak McLaren and a very, very special car; as having both is not desirable, I passed on a 765 spider allocation to keep my 675 spider.

I do keep looking at the blue 765 at Romans, and whilst stunning, I still feel the same and that I made the correct descion.

Mines goes in for its service in June, and after an epic wait, the matte carbon wing mirror arms have turned up and being fitted; the last piece of the carbon jigsaw puzzle!

I am lucky enough to have leather and alcantara luxury seats that I am having swapped for the current P1 seats just for a wee change...I think it was SSO that has the comfort seats in his 675 spider and prefers them.

Anyone else got comfort seats in their 675?

I do love the P1 seats though...they are just fantastic.

Looking forward to seeing what you got your hands on sdeways Chris, and welcome to the small club

You were spot on buddy! Thanks for the great advice!

So you have been upgrading to CF pieces over time?

I have been considering the same. I really fancy CF louvers and matt cf mirror arms and mirrors. Air brake and side vents in CF would be great too but aren't as important to me. Finding decent pricing isn't easy.

Pls share some pics and if you have any advice on where to find these bits pls also pet me know.

You've had some nice cars but I've never seen you so excited about any of them compared to the 675. It seems you have found your perfect car.
Its a 100% dead cert future classic and values will reflect this. Its top of the list car for me to add to my collection as I've never ever heard a single bad word about them.

Fortunately my car had most of the carbon spec'd from new.

I only had to source the scuttle panel, wheel arch liners and the mirror arms to have the full set.

With mines being napier green, the carbon rear spoiler looks just an amazing contrast, especially as its so huge!

I cannot kid on, sourcing parts is really hard, although there is a crowd that i put you to before breaking a blue 675 coupe that had almost every carbon option. They have / had carbon mirrors and stalks, along with side pods, wheel arch liners etc. They did have both louvered wings but think they only have one now.

You can buy aftermarket, and most of them are really good from what I hear, but I only wanted new OEM.

I was going to make the exact same post Taffy.

For someone whom has has some of the hardest to aquire cars, its a real endorsement for Brnt to show such excitement towards his 675 that I have never seen in any previous posts he has made.

P1 seats are the most comfortable bucket seat i have ever sat in.
Absolute perfect driving position.

I akways order buckets but I struggled with 918 seats in a manual Cayman as they were too upright and I had to sit too close to steering wheel to fully engage clutch pedal.
TBH it felt so cramped the driving position was dreadful

Thanks Taffy and Wheelspinning! You have both been awesome and given amazing advice.

This car is without any doubt very very special. Creates a true sense of occasion.

It feels like GT2 RS power in a carbon tubbed boxster with mega breaks, proper suspenion and better aesthetics. MEGA

I know I keep saying this, but I can't imagine a 765 having so much more power and being street legal for normal people to buy. The 675 should require a special license.

I wish I could have done a back to back with this and my 991 Speedster. I am 99% sure I would choose this. The Speedster was at the limits of my driving ability on the roads. The 675 exceeds my abilities enough to where it can scare me in a good way and make me want to try and tame it.

On a nice day, when this has been parked next to my touring and I grab the keys for this everytime. If the touring had rear seats that would change things greatly but as a 2 seater no comparison.

I agree.

For my Pcars with LWBs I have to order the seat angle adjusters and use a cushion for my lower back.

The P1 touring seat is more comfortable and I don't need to angle adjuster. I ordered a memory phone lumbar cushion and its worked great. I am going to get to upholstered when I get around to it so that it matches the interior.

Mine is also Napier and I’m on a quest to add a bit more carbon. Any chance of some photos of yours?

Hi there. I don't really post pics online; I don't do social media either which means I have never accessed the MOC!

Send me a p/m with your email address and I shall ping you pics.

How long have you had yours?
