Having a car like that and not being able to drive it properly due to the implications on its value would be pure torture tbh...if it was sitting in a collection and you had other cars to use then fair enough.
Nicely specced 675s are currently trading above £300k. 20% more for a full carbon car is good value and wouldn't put me off driving it.BrntRubber said:

I lost 3 transactions because they had sold 5 minutes after going online.
The purple one is perhaps an even harder sell.
When AB manages to sell 675s within days if not minutes of being listed that are chicane, orange, green etc for £300+k, thats the true value.
Apparently he has sold similar amount of 675s that havn't even been advertised for even more than current indicated prices.
He called and offered me my one before listing; I did dither as it was a few bucks and after a week he told me he had to advertise it...only then did I snap out of the cost issue and get the deal done.
To be fair, it was one of the highest priced ones last year, but compared to where they are now its comical.
There is still plenty of movement on the current prices.
Its a nice thing to have in the back pocket, but in no way related to why I bought it.
Its just a very special car; peak ICE McLaren.

Wow, I knew the market was hot for good cars but not that hot.Cars are trading within minutes of hitting the market.

Guess luke everything else at the moment demand outstrips supply of good cars hence why decent spec cars are uo for £300k + now.
I dont think this is a short term rise either as the car is at the point where its only ascending as people appreciate its true value as a Mclaren game changer
Blue 675 spider here .. owned for 5 weeks now . Car great to drive on the road .. not done many miles .. maybe 600 in total however .... took it on track at Goodwood with GRRC track day. Weather was a bit mixed but having done 4 sessions driving carefully ... Goodwood is not a forgiving track and I self insure so really don't want to be finding alternative means of driving home and looking at a empty garage!
By later afternoon the track was bone dry and a lot of people had called it a day .. the only other car out on track was a Porsche CGT which looked and sounded lovely ... anyway back to the 675 ... changed settings to track / track for handling and power and started to work the R tyres ... it simply felt like a different car the way the changes banged through the gears and it powered down the track! If I only ever drove it on track in those settings .. it would have been worth the purchase price alone. Two final sessions and then a cool down drive to meet friends for a drink and drive home. This car does track days , Sunday morning early coffee runs and roof down sunny day trips to nice 5 star restaurants ... three cars for the garage space of one.
Simply one happy customer who is now booked up for more track days, one to one driving training and a European tour to catch up on the last two years.

Glad you enjoyed the CGT - We had the track pretty much to ourselves, given the rain scared people off and great to see your lovely 675LTS. How are the new owners getting on with their 675LTs?
Is the car meeting your expectations?
This car is absolutely unbelievable and far beyond my expectations for it. I’m currently on the ferry coming home from LeMan and I can honestly say that was the best 700 miles of driving i have ever had We even got spotted on the way down from a motorway bridge Is the car meeting your expectations?
I dropped mines off last week for a service and a few other bits and pieces I want undertaken; 115miles in pissing rain, heavy traffic and average speed cameras.
Still loved every minute of the journey and somehow it returned 37.3mpg.
One of my young lads following me in our sprinter only managed 36mpg.
How does that work?!
Just another 675 quirk that surprises you.

My 650s struggles to go much above 25mpg... with fuel prices as they are, my business case for upgrading to an LT just got much stronger :-)Still loved every minute of the journey and somehow it returned 37.3mpg.

It's a regular experience with 675LT owners for some reason they are very good on fuel. On the m-way mine will easily return 36mpg and some have even seen 40mpg. I guess its a combination of lightweight and at 70mph it's probably off boost at low revs and low stress so only needs to sip fuel.Still loved every minute of the journey and somehow it returned 37.3mpg.

Another lovely VO 675 spider coming up for sale at AB.
I would think this shall have a deposit on it even before it is in stock for the price being asked.
Yep sold already, hardly surprising given carbon content, louvres and colour combo.I would think this shall have a deposit on it even before it is in stock for the price being asked.
Think he has a MSO high spec napier green car coming soon so we could see a new high as he says demand is high and prices still on rise
