This thread is about 675's; pretty near each post has been about 675's so unsure why you would think that.
The thread is about what are the most desirable colours......as per the first post! Not endless chat about market values, past, present and future. As for has Curlege bought it......i think most on here can answer that for you, no of course "he" hasnt!!!!!!!!

They didn't come in that many colours, so it would be a short exchange of posts.
I didn't ask if he had bought it; Curledge actually has a napier green 675 spider, and has done for a few years, or 3 previous usernames depending on what currency you base it on.

Of course it isn't limited to colours.
All things 675!
All things 675!
How are you enjoying yours?
Sadly I was pushing her hard in Ibiza and the thermostats went (common issue). Snet ther to Barcelona and they replaced the thermostats and the accumulators under warranty.
Can't wait to drive her next week!

Hopefully shall be ready this week.

Wonder how much to budget to sort. You'll be taking a hit if you want to drive it/put any miles on it, swap out seats for P1 buckets, sort out accumulators and other niggles. Interesting conundrum/problem to have.
Like most cars, a 'used' McLaren shall be a more enjoyable experience than one sat doing nowt for years.1 for a collector methinks.
Moot point about the seat; I have just swapped my P1s for comforts.
The P1s are fantastic, however, I am tall, chunky and just turned 50; I think the comfort seats shall enhance my enjoyment of the car!

Depends on how you use it.The P1s are fantastic, however, I am tall, chunky and just turned 50; I think the comfort seats shall enhance my enjoyment of the car!
I'm sliding around on the comfort seats in mine so I have bought a set of P1 seats to fit.
Had them in my last one and they made it a much more engaging drive.

Normally I would agree driving a low mileage car will result in taking a hit in value but at £300k and values still appreciating i dont think 2,000 miles pa would kill its value much.In 5 years time with 10k miles I reckon it will be worth more than £300k.
The last 18 months have seen prices ruse £50k and out perform the market as people realise its a iconic car and future classic.
Put some P1 bucket seats in it and its perfection in the coveted napier green

Absolutely criminal..........
Yeah rather have a car thats done 2,000 miles pa and used regularly so that all the niggles have been sorted out.Absolutely criminal..........
This will probably become a collectors car and museum piece and bought as an investment rather than to be driven

Asking £300k is different to selling for that. Will probably swap for closer to £250k as we see these cars drop.
Even without the P1 seats thats worth £300k all day.
Prices are only going up on these cars due to the rarity and legendary status.
Been undervalued for years but looks like the boat is starting to sail now so don't leave it too late IMHO.

So true horses for courses and all that, if anyone wants to swap P1 buckets for comforts let me know. I'm sliding around on the comfort seats in mine so I have bought a set of P1 seats to fit.

I use the car for as much daily duties as possible; no track stuff.
I also missed the heated element during the colder months as I am a roof down all the time tart.
The P1s are personalised to the car as are the comforts; if I miss the P1s too much I shall just have them swapped back over.
Getting the comfort seats out of the attic brought home how heavy they are compared to the P1s though.

Seems to be the trend for me on 675LT's, another that may be sold purely for speculation rather than get used for its remit. There is absolutely zero chance a 675 is worth £200k more than a 650s.Gassing Station | McLaren | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
