That side profile looks fantastic, I personally would not change the wheels or modify it at all.
Maybe a free flowing exhaust, but that's it. Very nice
Thank you very much!Maybe a free flowing exhaust, but that's it. Very nice
I must say I really love how she looks and hiw she drives. I am not changing the wheels after seeing them in the flesh.
I came across some original MSO CF mirror covers and mirror arms which are tempting. Seeing these everything I look out the window would be nice.
Also tempted with CF Fender vents, having found an MSO set of those for £9k plus paint and install.
If these pieces are oem, is there any chance it devalues the car as it isn't as per its original build? I am hoping I should at least get the cost back at resale if buying at decent prices, ignoring appreciation over time.
I am also driving her with her top off 99% of the time. The other 1% I have the back window down. Love it.

Does anyone know if you can machine wash the indoor car cover?
Assuming it’s the same as the cover for the other super series cars (a fleece type material), yes you can. There will be a care instructions label sewn onto it somewhere. It’s a squeeze to get it into a standard sized washing machine but can be done, I’d then hang it outside to dry naturally.Curledge said:
These are becoming very rare on the market now and AB has a few coupe roof snorkel cars up at 300k+.
Good job you bagged a bargain when you did as prices are only going one way from here on in regardless of the general state of the market simply due to the lack of supply of decent spec cars
Thanks 😊 Good job you bagged a bargain when you did as prices are only going one way from here on in regardless of the general state of the market simply due to the lack of supply of decent spec cars
I must say the car shocked me... Truly special!

Some say Mclaren's finest hour since the F1I must say the car shocked me... Truly special!
I am new to the brand but am absolutely smitten with the 675.
Tomorrow, I am going for an early morning drive here in Spain, excited is an understatement.
There is a full gloss carbon car that has been up for sale for a long time at £439k. I wonder what these are realisticly worth.

I’m picking my 675LT Spider up next week and I’m so excited I will post pics here if anyone is interested
Congratulations, cant wait to see what you have managed to bag.Not many of these have been advertised for a while now
A 765 must never get floored on the road.
What an amazing car! Its so cool it revs to 8500! I really want to hear one with high flow cats. Must sound unreal.
The only things I can fault on this car is 1) turning radius and 2) sound is good but isn't lambo V10 good or ferrari v12 good.
These are only going one way. I absolutely love it!

Way back earlier in this thread I posted to Brntrubber that I felt that the correct colour and spec 675 would be starting with a '3'.
We are already there now.
In my opinion, the 765 is like a 675 on steroids, but I thought, and still feel, the 675 is going to be viewed as peak McLaren and a very, very special car; as having both is not desirable, I passed on a 765 spider allocation to keep my 675 spider.
I do keep looking at the blue 765 at Romans, and whilst stunning, I still feel the same and that I made the correct descion.
Mines goes in for its service in June, and after an epic wait, the matte carbon wing mirror arms have turned up and being fitted; the last piece of the carbon jigsaw puzzle!
I am lucky enough to have leather and alcantara luxury seats that I am having swapped for the current P1 seats just for a wee change...I think it was SSO that has the comfort seats in his 675 spider and prefers them.
Anyone else got comfort seats in their 675?
I do love the P1 seats though...they are just fantastic.
Looking forward to seeing what you got your hands on sdeways Chris, and welcome to the small club
So you have been upgrading to CF pieces over time?
I have been considering the same. I really fancy CF louvers and matt cf mirror arms and mirrors. Air brake and side vents in CF would be great too but aren't as important to me. Finding decent pricing isn't easy.
Pls share some pics and if you have any advice on where to find these bits pls also pet me know.
Thanks Taffy and Wheelspinning! You have both been awesome and given amazing advice.
This car is without any doubt very very special. Creates a true sense of occasion.
It feels like GT2 RS power in a carbon tubbed boxster with mega breaks, proper suspenion and better aesthetics. MEGA
I know I keep saying this, but I can't imagine a 765 having so much more power and being street legal for normal people to buy. The 675 should require a special license.
I wish I could have done a back to back with this and my 991 Speedster. I am 99% sure I would choose this. The Speedster was at the limits of my driving ability on the roads. The 675 exceeds my abilities enough to where it can scare me in a good way and make me want to try and tame it.
On a nice day, when this has been parked next to my touring and I grab the keys for this everytime. If the touring had rear seats that would change things greatly but as a 2 seater no comparison.

P1 seats are the most comfortable bucket seat i have ever sat in.
Absolute perfect driving position.
I akways order buckets but I struggled with 918 seats in a manual Cayman as they were too upright and I had to sit too close to steering wheel to fully engage clutch pedal.
TBH it felt so cramped the driving position was dreadful

For my Pcars with LWBs I have to order the seat angle adjusters and use a cushion for my lower back.
The P1 touring seat is more comfortable and I don't need to angle adjuster. I ordered a memory phone lumbar cushion and its worked great. I am going to get to upholstered when I get around to it so that it matches the interior.

I popped into the Perth Porsche Centre last week, and they had the most stunning shark blue 992 GT3 that was around a year old.
It was absolutely mint but had cracked 10000 miles.
I felt like I wasn't trying hard enough as I have only managed 4000 miles in the last year and its about 200 miles shy of 10k miles.
I doff my cap to the owner of that GT3.
I don't understand why owners of these kind of cars fret about mileage.
The guy with the GT3 drove the nuts off that and still trousered about 70k profit.
Its the same with my 675.
I use it as much as I possibly can regardless of the weather. I don't care about the mileage as when the time comes, I know someone is going to bite my arm off to buy it.
Is that a general thought for fellow owners?
Or am I as they call up here a 'no-righter'?

I tend to change my cars quite often so I typically onky put a small amount of mileage, but that isn't because I am fretting over every mile.
The 675 is different though. Not selling that anytime soon, God willing. Put 1k miles in the first month, which I have never done on any car before it.

So you would put another 300k into a car similar to what you already have because it had a carbon Fibre body? I get it might be slightly undervalued of course...more power to you if you can just park the cash!
Yeah I think it would be a good investment TBHIf the 675 ever becomes a proper collectors car the carbon ones will be worth a fortune. Imagine the value of a 1/25 full CF CGT VS Normal CGT Values

Having a car like that and not being able to drive it properly due to the implications on its value would be pure torture tbh...if it was sitting in a collection and you had other cars to use then fair enough.
Nicely specced 675s are currently trading above £300k. 20% more for a full carbon car is good value and wouldn't put me off driving it.DB77 said:

I lost 3 transactions because they had sold 5 minutes after going online.

Blue 675 spider here .. owned for 5 weeks now . Car great to drive on the road .. not done many miles .. maybe 600 in total however .... took it on track at Goodwood with GRRC track day. Weather was a bit mixed but having done 4 sessions driving carefully ... Goodwood is not a forgiving track and I self insure so really don't want to be finding alternative means of driving home and looking at a empty garage!
By later afternoon the track was bone dry and a lot of people had called it a day .. the only other car out on track was a Porsche CGT which looked and sounded lovely ... anyway back to the 675 ... changed settings to track / track for handling and power and started to work the R tyres ... it simply felt like a different car the way the changes banged through the gears and it powered down the track! If I only ever drove it on track in those settings .. it would have been worth the purchase price alone. Two final sessions and then a cool down drive to meet friends for a drink and drive home. This car does track days , Sunday morning early coffee runs and roof down sunny day trips to nice 5 star restaurants ... three cars for the garage space of one.
Simply one happy customer who is now booked up for more track days, one to one driving training and a European tour to catch up on the last two years.
