I just don’t think I could buy a car from them as I got the impression there would be zero after sales service and all the cars just seem neglected.

I’m clearly not the only person getting this impression as their stock seems to never sell, a combination of high main dealer prices but at an outfit that could put any potential buyer off, I’d far rather buy privately.

Gives me impression they are either dodgy or just so rich they have no inclination to try and get cars sold.

Yes it will have warranty but go view it and I’m sure you’ll feel something feels off about the dealer and car.

Car has clearly sat for months on end which could cause issues but it could also be fine but the fact it’s not even advertised as the correct colour makes me question and have doubts.

The outfit just did not befit supercars but maybe it’s owners personal own collection I just remember viewing it and been disappointed by it been McLaren orange and not Helios and then to see the car just covered in dust and looking sorry for itself. Battery is probably toast and as cars are designed to be used and this has sat for months just rings alarm bells for me.

Go check it out as they’ve had it a year or so and as such maybe a deal can be done.
I actually did message them saying I thought it was McLaren Orange and for them to provide the spec sheet. Lo and behold, they said yes it was McLaren Orange. Unfortunately I'm based in London so bit too far of a trek to have a look at it in person.

They’ve also just sent me new pictures. One of which with M&A Coachworks in Potters Bar (quite far from where they are based) in the background, which is a well known approved manufacturer body shop. Makes you wonder if it’s been in an accident? Not sure what those blue pads are

Chap in the background wearng a mask.Could be because he works in a paintshop, or could have been taken during Covid.

Obviously no guarantee, but a lot of McLaren's go to paint shops purely for the well known issue with paint bubbling.

My old 650 went to M&A simply to solve faded Volcano Orange paint.

Those blue things are how the car comes from the factory.

The car is a June 2020 car, early covid, hence the guy wearing the mask.

Therefore I'd think it's fairly safe to assume that pic is June 2020 from when it was new.

What an absolute belter of a car that is smile

What is surprising is that the seller did not renew the warranty last month? This will surely be reflective in the bidding?

So £170k was winning bid. £177.2k with fees. About right in the current market?

That looked a good buy, thought it would have sold for more if I’m honest.

I don't think CC is a fair representation of market values, as there are a lot of people who won't use it to buy a car. I would imagine that 675 would be a good bit dearer at a dealer.

I thought it was cheap, £50k under anything else advertised?

Possibly, lots of stuff on there goes for good money though. Only need 2 people who will use it and want the car I guess.
