I've been watching his blue 650 - it <almost> matches what I want, but hadn't decided whether I wanted to go and look at it. Wrong time of year, plus hadn't fully decided I want to buy something.
It seems to have disappeared from AT and his website, and isn't in his sold list either. So not sure if the owner has decided to keep it.
I was interested in it - just felt it was a bit too expensive - if it had the Carbon bumpers then I'd have gone for itIt seems to have disappeared from AT and his website, and isn't in his sold list either. So not sure if the owner has decided to keep it.
I spoke to him yesterday on it - they are holding out for top money, so removing from sale to relist end of Jan
I've opted for a 1 owner, 8k miles 2013MY 12C coupe with £60k options inc Ceramics to tide me over til summer

I didn't think it was badly priced for age / mileage / spec - although probably still more than I'd have wanted to pay. But if they're determined on top money it's not for me anyway - as I said, it mostly matches what I want - but the interior doesn't, and I wouldn't pay top money for that.
It was a lot better priced than the VR one New Forest had up recently - that was very toppy!

Yes toppy but sold quickly because of the colour...when I see a nice 650s like the VR one or the blue at AB I do wonder if spending the extra 40k on a 600LT Spider is worth it I didn't think it was badly priced for age / mileage / spec - although probably still more than I'd have wanted to pay. I'm not tempted by 600LT anyway.
720s are tempting, but I am struggling to convince myself that I should pay £40-50k more for a 720 coupe than a 650 spider - or double the cost for a 720 spider.
Which only really leaves another 650 spider.
If the perfect car comes along, I suspect I'd buy. But I think it's unlikely that will happen - so then I'll see if I'm more willing to compromise in Spring.

Was tempted, but no heated seats and a hard life as press car swung me away

It will prob sell for £104k in the spring
But not in -3c few weeks before Xmas with current levels of consumer confidence etc
Hence they removing it from sale, clearly seller not in a rush - fair play
Yeah! -3c and the Salts on the roads, anyone run their cars under these conditions ??But not in -3c few weeks before Xmas with current levels of consumer confidence etc

I ran mine all year. The time of year makes me less likely to go looking at cars and spend £100-200k on one, but if I did actually buy one now (if the blue one at AB had leather interior, I probably would have) - then I'd be using it.
It's an area the g/f and I disagree. She thinks it should be a "special car" that you use for summer weekend trips. I think that if I spend £100k+ on a car, I sure as hell want to be using it more than the occasional weekend. And McLaren's are very suitable to daily use anyway.
Went out early this morning in the 720. I almost dropped the roof but minus temperatures are a little extreme even for somebody who gets the roof down at the drop of a hat!
It was a nice drive but I did drop into comfort/comfort to minimise the chance that I would give it a little stab and slide off the road.

HR Owen seem to be god eggs also, they sent it to McBristol for a £1.8k service, fit new Michelin 4S tyres, wheel refurb, and 1yr warranty.
