Well, went to see one today and was very impressed indeed!
Didn’t get to drive it but that can be arranged.
Only issue is that we’re a little way apart on the part-ex for the 911 - bought it in October ‘21 so just about at the top of the market. That’s what happens when you get excited I suppose!
Looking at other options for selling that and also at some tweaks to financing. Fingers crossed!
Thanks again for all the replies
When buying my 570 I got offered 10k less for trade in on an Exige compared to what I sold it for privately. Just sell it privately if possible Didn’t get to drive it but that can be arranged.

Nope, the McLaren supplied 12C and 650S sports exhausts are made from inconel. If my memory serves correctly, they first started using titanium with the 675LT?
Wow. You know what material is used on the 570 sport exhaust?Excellent! What colour blue is that?
Oddly I had a run in a GT4 this week and was blown away with how good it was. I've never really considered one but honestly couldn't fault it. In comparison to the 540C it needed a bit of revs to get going, but the engine and (manual) gearbox were superb

It’s Namaka blue, photos don’t really do it justice.Oddly I had a run in a GT4 this week and was blown away with how good it was. I've never really considered one but honestly couldn't fault it. I love my 911 and will be sad to see it go (although it’s absolutely filthy after spending four days on the PH campsite!).
Always heard great things about the GT4.
It’s conclusion time (well, for this chapter anyway)…
911 went yesterday to Ashgood…
Then I jumped in the wife’s Macan S (long story, but that was the part-ex) and drove to McGlasgow from Kent to pick up this…
Left Glasgow 10.30am this morning and got back at 6.30pm this evening.
You were all right (I suspect you knew that already)… so different to the 911. So much more of everything and very comfortable for the long journey too!

Thanks chaps! I'm really loving it so far. It gets lots more attention than the 911, all good too.
Took it to the Porsche meet at the Fairmile pub in Cobham last night, they wouldn't let me park in the field but found a nice big space...
One question - it's got the McLaren tracker but there's no app that goes with it. What does everyone else do - stick with the standard one, get a different one or not bother? My insurance doesn't require one.
Also, bought the battery charger just in case it gets left for a period of time.
And yes... it needs a clean

Paul - how do you find the road noise (on Pirellis)? I'm finding my right ear a bit hammered by road noise and wondered if it is std or maybe I have some poor seals or something? My feeling is that this is how they are on Pirellis but it is not very GT like at 80 on some surfaces. Other than that of course love it but definitely far far road noisier noisier than my Rapide or Taycan.
