Just to say, I had a PPI at a McLaren dealer, if I was buying again I'd get the car taken to V Engineering. Just based on the quality and helpfulness of the information on the PPI vs what V told me when the car went in to them for alignment later.

They can’t back it up with a warranty though, so if you want warranty you’d have to go to McLaren or Thorney..

Indeed.

FWIW my McLaren dealer initially told me I could warranty the car immediately on purchase, off the back of their PPI, but later changed their tune and said I would need to come back after 3 months of ownership to buy a McWarranty.

However I'm aware that other people have had different (better) service from McLaren around issuing warranties.

Yeah McLaren a bit annul when it comes to warranty, if you’ve not bought from them and you’re a new owner of a warranty lapsed car I think you need to own it for 90 days before they’ll issue you with one ( following a clean PPI that is )

I saw this one but discounted it due high mileage, interesting that other comments suggest low mileage may be more troublesome, is 22k not an issue for these cars?

Such a shame V dont offer a warranty like Thorney, nothing against Thorney of course, but purely for a convenience point of view as Thorney is miles from me. It all adds to costs/time if you've got to get the car miles away for warranty work.

It’s a 67 plate also, not a 2019 car as advertised ,,

Something not right with that car, as stated it’s not a 2019

More concerning is buying one through CC, why would folks risk their hard earned through a site which is renowned for dubious practices

Yeah, it's pretty piss-poor to be creaming off seven grand from each sale and yet fail to cross-check the information on the supplied V5 image against the basic listing details.

Anyway it'll be interesting to see what it's bid to.

PH seems to be banning people who say anything about CC, even those who just say to read the reviews.

Strange you wouldn't put a 40 quid mot on a car before listing it, never minding the missing service.

Looking at the seller details I think it may be a trade sale from Meridian Modena Ferrari Dealership? I may be wrong though.

I would be gobsmacked if a 2018 Mclaren failed an MOT on anything untoward, however, a new set of tyres etc adds a few quid to a car they obviously want shot of.
