I’d say that would make a great buy if the condition and history stack up.Not many going to be at that low miles now.
Great colour and decent spec, although no carbon bumpers which is what I held out for
Need to remove the tints.

Looks a nice low mileage car on the face of it, i always think this dealer seems to ask top dollar for his cars generally..
Talking of being overpriced,,,

I'd definitely say the mileage is too low on that car. I have been told first hand by specialists that very low mileage is not desirable on a McLaren, they do not like being sat around at all. 675 miles a year means a great deal of time not moving. First thing I would do with this car is check the MOT history, if it shows no more than a few hundred miles over the last 2 years I would walk away.I bang this particular drum a lot; the obsession with low mileage in the supercar world is ridiculous. it's not the 1970s any more, these cars don't fall apart when they hit 20k miles, and a well used well maintained example will often be a much better proposition than one that has been sat idle in a garage 11 months of the year.
I looked at 570, 12C and 650s before buying my 650 spider. I never drove the 570, but the interior of the 12C/650 is so much nicer, with the big analogue tacho and very high quality materials throughout. Just a much nicer place to be....
The ride quality on the 650s is crazy good as well. It's a full on supercar that is also a brilliant GT car. It's engineering genius.....I love it 🙂
Despite that, I would suggest a test drive in both - you may prefer the way the 570 drives, in which case, who cares about interior quality and ride comfort 🤣

The interior is definitely a point of difference, albeit one I'd say is quite subjective. I personally prefer the more modern, open-plan 570 interior architecture, but I know the 650's cockpit is an attraction for many owners. Materials is a good point; there's quite a big variation between individual cars, depending on how generously the first owner ticked boxes on the options sheet. My 570GT feels pretty nice inside, but I know some earlier/lower spec examples have been a bit bare, considering their new price. The extent of plastic vs leather vs alcantara vs carbon-fibre, and trim colours, are matters of preference too.

Exactly the same for me, prefer the modern 570s interior.jerrytlr said:

I agree, the 650 is more coherent and flows around the car, and much prefer the analogue tacho over the playstation look. But hey, just my slant. The ride quality on the 650s is crazy good as well. It's a full on supercar that is also a brilliant GT car. It's engineering genius.....I love it
Good luck - great choice.
Was just driven around on my usual roads in a colleague’s 600LT. The car was bouncing around terribly and just didn’t feel settled. Felt worse than my V12V. Was a bit surprised how industrial the motor sounded. Could feel the NVH through my feet! Made me re-appreciate the 650s’ suspension in sport, and the lovely screaming howl with the top or backlight down.

Very strange that, my 600 is absolutely planted on any road, perhaps something wrong with your colleagues car ? Should maybe get it checked out,, also should be No industrial type noise from the motor, they should sound fantastic from their top exit exhausts,, mine does,,Was just driven around on my usual roads in a colleague’s 600LT. There are 5 12C's at £65k and under and 4 650S under £80k that don't seem to have budged for months so not sure much is moving. I would be pushing for a deal.
There's another thread where people were trying to justify u12C spiders at £100k so it's great they're being priced more sensibly nowGassing Station | McLaren | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
