Pagids will kill your discs quicker than oem pads as they harder. I had a chat with Thorney and he recommends keeping the oem pads but changing well before they are low.
A few of us are now running RSC1 pads, they are lasting much longer and with no ill effect on the disc and if you do track days, a driver pushing hard and out on track a lot can kill a set of OEM pads and disc on one track day, the RSC1 prevent this risk and owners with 600 LT's running the setup have not reported any high wear rates on the factory disc.Davyt said:
Roof scoop cars are very rare and probably now in the hands of people that are going to keep them I would imagine,, but there’s always a few Spiders for sale & Coupes,,
This anyone with a top spec coupe with all external carbon packs, roof scoop, carbon spoiler, P1/Senna seats are like holy grail of 600 LT in full blown track spec and rarity, I can see said cars fetching close in price to what a 620R goes for.Me personally in world of McLarens, Spider is where it is at simply for the more versatile all round use it offers and the different sound modes, plus you get an extra boot, which when we spent a week in Isle of Man came in very handy as we filled both boots, that little extra luggage space makes a big difference for EU trips and ability for get more exhaust noise is very welcome, plus the roof down driving when weather permits, really puts the experience on another level.

if its not got a roof scoop, then surely it needs to be a spider?

thats my point, in the current world, the spider offers only positives over a coupe, unless its got a roof scoop, which I guess is why spiders sell faster and for a higher price.
It’s more about spec with the 600’s as you will see if you look at the classifieds,, also the spider was more expensive than the coupe when new so understandably it is more expensive used ( like for like )Streetbeat said:
Your going to have to really want a 600lt with a roof scoop if you pay 620r prices, i think AB had one not so long ago, sure it was £169-£179, 620r's are north of £200 last one i saw advertised, none at the moment that i can see.
Currently there's a 620R on sale at V Engineering for £250k.MDL111 said:
just checked for fun - in Germany the cheapest 600 LT is listed at 215k and the cheapest 620 R at 230k - why would you buy the 600 in that case (as many others I really would want a roof scoop)
Because over here the price is getting on for over double if there’s a 620R up for £250K,, last one I saw was under £200K at a franchise dealer..Davyt said:
