Obviously not going to post our direct offer as don't want to be kicked off but the new Zoe offer is cheapest over 2 years and can get as low as £69 a month with no deposit over 2 years + battery rental. Worth noting that Renault have increased the battery rental though so now starts from £45 a month for the 3,000 mile lease.
Presume that's for base spec car ? How much for Dynamique Intens with 7k per year ?We are on track to exceed our mileage limit by about 1000miles this year (on 7.5k per anum).
Just rang Renault finance and they said you can't change the agreement to increase the allowance. I thought you could, obviously the monthly would increase and the final value will change but still. Was I wrong?
BTW.
Our deal alst dec was
£150 deposit
£99 arrangement fee
£155 per month
2yrs - 7500miles per year.

I'm in a similar position. Apparently you can change the battery lease but not the car leaseJust rang Renault finance and they said you can't change the agreement to increase the allowance. Found this on Hot UK Deals and it seems good to me, I'm sure I'm missing something though:

£114pm for 5000 miles and they even fit a 7kw wall box.

If anyone is interested Savilles of Mustow Green Kidderminster have advertised in the local rag a Zoe Intens Metallic Black 10999.
Implication on the advert is pre reg delivery mileage only.

Only recently became Renault dealers, have dealt with them for years as Skoda dealers, their service dept has been top notch with Skoda. Less impressed with sales dept tbh.

The chassis agreement states 7.5k per annum and it for 2yrs. 5p per mile excess.
The battery agreement states 22.5k allowance over 3 yes, excess is 7.5ppm.
Given the plan has always been to terminate the battery lease early (after 24mnths) then I can't see why you couldn't hand it back having driven way over your annual limit and only incurr the 5ppm charge as per the chassis agreement.
Basically, as long as it goes back with <22.5k miles on it your mileage excess will be 5ppm, not 12.5ppm??
Read all the reviews and all the negative comments and thought sod it so have just ordered my new black Itens from Stuart at Masters of Beckenham in South East London. Was a bit concerned about the horror stories about delivery, but David the sales manager has assured me my car will be there within 10 days or he will lend me one of theirs.

Bought my Zoe in December and its not missed a beat. Intention was to save money as I was doing 10K a year in a CTR costing near £200 a month in petrol alone.
Fast forward 5 months, I've had to put the battery agreement upto £12.5K a year as we are hammering the miles on it. I drive it for work/round the doors and the missus uses it more often than not too. Its now the main car in the house and we are saving around £300 a month that was petrol for both cars.
Range is not an issue at all. I rarely drop below 40% charge in a day and the 32A chargers can charge from half to full in 2 hours when parked up in town. Leccy costing us about £30 a month max, but I drive it like I stole it :-)
So, wife and I decided to go to the local Renault dealership to see what the Zoe is like...
Really helpful salesman who got us into the demonstrator in around 5 minutes. Really impressed with the Zoe!
Did the deal there and then on an Intens in Poverty Spec White:-
Deposit: £500
Car: £84
Battery: £93
on a 24 month PCP with 12,000 miles a year. Got him to throw in the armrest for free too - not sure if I'll need it but remember someone else on the thread for getting one. Also British Gas will install the home charger thingy.
Apparently there were 140 Intens in stock. Should get it in a week or so!

Well, on that subject, we've recently signed up for a Leaf having had a play in both.
Mrs Cjelli preferred the Zoe from the outside, but the interior of the Leaf won the day. Just seems a much nicer place to be.
Also the Nissan garage appeared to give their best price up front, while the Renault garage wanted to play games with us. Offering a price, going away to speak to their manager etc etc. I'd already said what deals I'd seen, in here and other places, so they kept "doing us a favour" by messing with the price. Just got a bit tiring.
Excitedly waiting for the Leaf to arrive now.

What range does the Zoe report at full charge?
We have a kangoo EV Van at work, this time of year it reports a 70 mile range. Low temperatures (low + degrees C) sees it drop to 38 miles - just over half.

If you do the full reset (both pedals down +door open + trip reset) then it'll jump to 125+ miles but it soon settles back down depending on how it's driven.
You can rely on that range indicator though, it will do an actual real life 80 odd miles. It's not like an ice indicator that can go from 50 to "roll to a halt" within much less
It's much less hassle with a tethered cable. It doesn't sound like much but rummaging round in the boot then plugging one end in then the other is far more hassle than just popping the flap, plug in and go.
But, to answer your question, yes, the cable that comes with the car will work, double check with bg though.
I'm thinking we might swap the Zoe for a leaf when the pcp is up so that will need a type 1 connecter. Swapping the tethered type 2 for a type one seems very easy to diy and the cable/connector aren't too expensive to buy.

I would check its legal and your still insured once you open and p[lay with the charge unit. Something so juicy surely needs a spark to do even if just for the certification.Gassing Station | EV and Alternative Fuels | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
