So my parent in-laws have just ordered a Zoe:

£500 deposit, £158/month for 24 months, first month payment £248 - including all fees.

Thats 7,500 miles per year, Zoe dynamic nav (with new more efficient motor), in metallic, and free home EV charger.

These deals seem to floating around at a few dealers, option to go up to 3 years for similar costs. Cars funded by RCI finance - same company as Nissan uses. Essentially Renault are throwing in £5K off the list price in addition to the £5K EV grant, and setting very high GFV to make the monthly payments low.

Might be of interest to some.

That is a cracking deal, it is another £720 off the car when there isn't that much in the car in the first place, some dealers have very high ZOE targets to meet, this dealer must be one of them.

Is this nationwide or certain dealers only?

I think most dealers can get close to those numbers...Just found the mother-in law was able to squeeze a free service and mats into the deal too!!!

Pretty sure the £5K extra dealer contribution is coming to a end on the 30th Sep (End of Q3). So any one interested better be quick!!

That is a 3 year deal, which can be achieved by any dealer quite comfortably, the deal that the OP's parents achieved is 24m which automatically makes the payments higher and the dealer has thrown in more money than the car actually makes to achieve those figures but as I said a few posts up, some dealers have very high ZOE targets so are doing silly deals to get deals to enable them to hit their target.

The current Renault offer for ZOE ends on the 30th of September and the car has to be registered by 31st December, we don't know if it will be extended.

Ah yes, I missed that the OP was 48 months. Still, I guess if one dealer can do that deal then others may be keen to match it if there are targets to hit.

Out of interest whats the difference between PCP and PCP - ze access?

On the Renault page PCP is £599 + (£159 x 36) and PCP - ZE is £599 + (£134 x 36)?

Total amount for credit is the same which I cant work out?

Of course there will be dealers that will do something silly and others that will match it, fortunately for us we have spanked our ZOE target, all of them using the nationally advertised offer.

The Rapid Charge version lets you use these rapid charge points throughout the UK. These charge the car to 80% in 30 minutes, standard car takes between 1-2 hours to charge to 80% - http://www.zap-map.com/renault/?#x=53.31775/y=-5.0...

Thanks - there is so much to consider compared to buying a petrol/diesel car - it' a whole new world!

Is it worth the extra £500? Can you add it on afterwards if you go for the std model?

I think it depends how you use the car. If you're only using it to go a couple of miles to work then charging it when you get home you'll never use the Rapid Charge. If you have family 200 miles away that you visit once a month it means you could probably do the journey with a toilet break as opposed to a meal stop. I don't believe you can upgrade at a later date.

Is it worth the extra £500; well it depends on the type of usage that the car is going to be getting, if you are pootling about locally then no, if you are going to uses it for greater distances where you will happen across the super chargers, then possibly, however the range in the "Rapid Charge" Is marginally less than the non Rapid Charge, official NEDC range figures are 130 miles for the "Rapid Charge" and 149 for the non Rapid Charge.

The "Rapid Charge" uses the original motor that the ZOE was launched with, the non Rapid Charge, is a new motor that gives a greater range, you cannot add it on at a later date.

You are going to struggle getting 80-90 miles regularly, you will have to drive like a saint to achieve it, I have managed 100 miles but it was tough, I generally tell people 70-80 miles but you have to still be careful.

Yes that is where I am based.

Thats a bugger, i was thinking of getting one when my company car is returned in May 2016. If Renault stop the huge contribution it makes it less attractive, hmmm

Joined the group but could not find any deals listed. Saw a deal from Bristol Street Motors, enquired around 10k miles on a ZOE DYNAMIQUE INTENS 5DR AUTO and ended up signing up at £95 deposit and £179 per month over two years.

Only negative is because Renault are giving them away (they sold 20 last month), stock is not expected until January frown

At that price I can wait!
