Hi all!

I've wanted an i3 since i took a test drive a couple of months back.

Unfortunately they lent me a very high spec car, which now means i have to have loads of options when i order wink

I'm going for:

10k miles pa, 24 month contract (6+23)

Spec:
REX
Ionic Silver metallic with BMW i Blue highlight
19" BMW i Turbine-spoke style 428 alloy wheels
Interior world, Loft
Park assist package
Media package - BMW Professional
Enhanced Bluetooth telephone with USB & Voice Control
Harman Kardon - Hi-Fi
Sun protection glass
DC Rapid Charge preparation

Best price i have been quoted is just over £400pm including VAT (£338 exc VAT) - does that sound decent enough?

Does anyone have any contacts i can see to get better than the above?

Will be running though my company as numbers seem to make sense smile

Thanks!

what deposit?

Personally, if things like park assist are cheapo options, great, but imo it is a pointless option on any car. Also, 19 inch alloys may look nice, but on UK roads on a small car, IMO are a liability, particularly on a lease car that will have charges if they go back bent!

BUT, if it is the spec you want, (and rest of the spec seems nice)it sounds like an ok price. And I appreciate that some options on BMWs are almost necessary to get a decent GFV and keep the lease down.

Having said all that, compared to £180 all in for a plug in Zoe with no deposit, it's relatively expensive electric motoring, but the I3 is a peach!

I'd say id losing park assist and the big wheels saves like £40 a month, it is worth considering reducing the spec, but if it is a tenner, and you are a gadget fan, go for it, fella! Let us know how you get on.

Cheers Mate!

The car comes standard with 19" wheels - ride is ok on them. The standard ones are pretty odd though so an upgrade is a must!

I know what you mean, it's hard to leave these things out (the reverse camera on these is super high definition best i've ever seen) but to be honest not the end of the world to leave it out.

There are some options like metallic paint that improve the GFV so much that it actually hardly adds anything onto the lease!

Close to ordering.

I have also added LED lights and gone for the suite interior. All notions of fiscal responsibility have gone out the window wink

Colour wise, stuck between ionic silver (the boring option - playing it safe) and solar orange - any thoughts?

I quite liked the orange, it's not as bright as the brochure makes it.

I reckon the driving assist package is a must, I'd rather have that over the parking assist if you can't have both.

Ah really? I test drove one that had it for 2 days, didn't really use it too much, but then not sure if that is because it was such a short time with the car?

Adaptive cruise seemed to work sporadically, and i didn't really make much use of the traffic driving feature. Is it something you would grow to like?

Yep i'm 100% decided to be brave and go for the orange smile

So excited, just sent off all the info so should be ordered tomorrow!

I only test drove it for half an hour, but the adaptive cruise worked flawlessly. Followed a bus down a country road and it slowed down when the bus did so I didn't even have to brake manually for bends. Brought me to a stop when following traffic in lights and pulled off again with them. It was effortless driving. (Apart from junctions/roundabout, where you have to intervene to stop the car going on its own!)

Hope your new purchase goes well, about 6 weeks lead time I believe?
