This might seem like a silly question, but how does one get a Zoe serviced?

I will leave the question as open as that for now.

Phone your nearest Renault dealer and book it in ?

Or do you mean, what do they do on the service ?

If so, I asked and it is basically a normal car service without the oil/filter etc. I would say they plug the special computer in and do a health check/check for software updates but most main dealers do that as a matter of course now on 'normal' cars.

I would hope they charge it up as well !

Consists of lots of "checking"

see previous thread, there's a schedule about 5 posts down

Wow the first year service amounts to not much more than kicking the tyres. Even the second year service they're scraping the barrel with things like checking labels and greasing the bonnet catch....

I'm guessing still that the price of the service does not reflect the sheer lack of stuff to do?

I thought it might be as simple as phoning a dealer and booking it in, but alas not round here. I have tried 3 dealers (all indicated as suitable on the renault website) with no success

Have booked through the renault website now and am awaiting confirrmation

Not too bothered what the service actually entails, just need it doing as condition of the PCP

Price is £NIL as car has 4 years inclusive servicing

If you can wait until the 11th january, mine is getting done although I doubt it'll reveal much. When i had it in for the software update recently they sent me a health check email which basically said everything's great as you'd expect for a car with 6k miles on it.

it is getting silly now

the dealer that the renault website made the booking with (in full knowledge of the details of the car) has been in touch to say they don't do electric car servicing

Just booked mine into Watford, they said they service all makes. Dunno if that helps, went through the website like you suggested, and they know about the free servicing.

it is done now, by EH at Doncaster

the difficulties were, to be fair 70% me / 30% renault

once in touch directly with the service desk at EH Doncaster, it was smooth sailing

The dealer I got mine from moved away from Cambridge so I was expecting to have to sort it myself. However the new franchisee gave me a call and made an appointment. I had the service done on Friday, took no time as they don't have much to do.

What is a bit odd is why doesn't the connected service in the dash let you book your service, can't be that hard.

My nearest Evans Halshaw is Milton Keynes, but they didn't seem to have a clue what I was talking about when I asked about servicing a Zoe. "Bring it down mate, will need an oil change..."

Quick call to my Local Renault dealer has it booked in for early Jan - plus they knew all about the free servicing

Serviced at Watford, fairly trouble free. Software update to heater seems to have started it working properly, so far anyway.

My tyre has a bulge, they said I should replace it. I have a year left with the car. Should I replace one tyre, or do I need to do both. I was going to put the new one on the rear. We have been having issues with the TPS system may in some wierd way have been related.

Had mine done today, nothing needed done as expected. Forgot to remind them about the blue badge flaking so will probably not bother getting it replaced. When I picked it up the auto lights were turned off. When I put it back to auto the lights came on and stayed on even though it was still daylight. Probably just confused but must remember to check it next time it sees daylight.

Mine were off too. And they had disconnect the dashcam. The chap behind the counter kept saying how there was very little to check.

Mine was done today with no issues including the A/C update, which they described as a recall. They did say that the front tyres were down to 5mm, with the rears being >6mm so I'm going to swap them around to see if I can eek them out until the end of the lease in December (another 10k miles).

It's got me thinking about what I'll replace it with when it does go back. To be honest I'd be happy keeping it, but I suppose that I'll see what deals are around at the time. I'll definitely have another EV of some description though.
