I'm assuming I'm not the first one to have had to go through this outrage.
The CC cameras will automatically recognise for example motorcycles from DVLA database and you just don't bother doing anything, you never hear from them.
Yet that very same database contains the ULEV flag so the same process can happen for eligible ULEVs but it doesn't. Instead you have to fill in forms, send a tenner, wait for ages AND pay the charge meantime (for which you're not entitled to a refund when your car is officially recognised).

ds. One more public sector piece of crap system unfit for purpose that'd have any private sector company in court for fraud (charging for something that's not applicable)
