I have full tank and full battery only giving me a total range of 250 miles anyone having the same problem
I have just under 3/4 tank and 50% battery (11 miles) with a Total Range of 280 miles. I think the car calculates your Total Range based on you previous driving characteristics.I now have a production week for my 330e; for info: ordered (in the UK) on 2nd September, and this morning received an email from the dealer saying production is expected in week 47 (week commencing 21st November) - expected delivery week 50.
Went for:
Sport
Melbourne Red
18" wheels
Interior comfort pack
Media professional plus
Folding mirrors
Sun protection glass
Lumbar support
Adaptive LED lights
Speed limit display

Had a real economy test for the car today.
220mile trip
75% battery
50mpg average. Majority of trip in Eco pro as it makes a big difference on the motorway
Quite impressed! I was aiming for 40.. Had it on save mode a few times too. Finished with 38% battery
That's slightly better than I thought the car would get. I hope you are getting more than that around town etc though?220mile trip

My current 320d does approx. 65 mpg on motorway journeys 75mph ish. And around town about 50mpg. Unless it does significantly better around town than 50mpg I will be loosing out!

Is the 250 miles the reported range or the range you achieve?
Total range Iv reset trip computer just going to run it till fuel gets low and see what miles iv done
Just full charge and saying 257 done 50 mile today on abit of both tank still full it was saying 235 before I charged it now says 257
Rang the lease company today to question why the volvo phev wasn't on the list. They are negotiating costs now so should appear in next 2-4 weeks.
Volvo better choice for me due to Estate and diesel but still looking forward to the bmw and what it brings mpg and more importantly the drive.

Keep us posted on what you achieve - and driving modes you use?
My current E91 320d achieves about 50mpg on my 25 mile total commute, and the 330e should achieve much better - I can charge at work so hope to be able to get all the way on electric for most of the year (really cold and really hot may limit that).

Better view of the blue grill here. Not too sure about it. Changed my grill and wing mirrors to black, think it looks good but each to their own!!
Hi - is the grille and mirrors easy to do yourself? Mine's a company so probably won't get done by my local dealer
Cheers - Simon
Really easy to do. The grill was an aftermarket from ebay, the mirror caps were genuine Black F30 caps which i also picked up on ebay.Hi - is the grille and mirrors easy to do yourself? Mine's a company so probably won't get done by my local dealer

Guide to changing the gill here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?p=...
Note that i actually managed to change the grill without pulling the bumper out as in the above instrustions. Its a little fiddly and but if you look at where the clips are on the grill and your fingers arent too fat you can just reach through the OEM grill slats, pop the clips and pull the grill straight out. Once the first one out its much easier to do the second. It took me about 30 mins, no tools required.
Changing mirrors: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=...
For this its similar to the procedure but i did it slighlty differently, from what I recall I just popped the mirror out as pet the method above and then using a flat head screwdriver i released the clips to pull the mirror cap off. The new black OEM just popped straight on, mirror clips straight back in.
Did the whole lot in about 45 - 60 mins. Anyone could do it.

In my experience you'll get around 18 miles of electric depending on terrain and driving style, so nearly a full commute. I'm not sure where the 25 mile electric range comes from tbh.Rob-kqpsf said:

Only doing it for cheap tax so in no hurry to return current Jag XF Having not actually driven one I am disappointed that it now appears to have blue grill and daft badges on 3/4 pillars. I do not remember seeing that on line and in brochures.

I saw on bimmerpost (google "330e blue grill iperformance exterior styling") someone said they'd contacted BMW and were told the blue grill and highlights on the badges were only if you'd order the iPerformance exterior styling pack (is that US only?). I haven't checked that that's correct though.bmwphever said:

BMW live chat have just told me."The BMW 330e M Sport has its kidney grills with BMW i blue design."
"iPerformance exterior styling deletion
Included as standard, this suppresses exterior features of:
- BMW i Blue surround to the BMW badge in the alloy wheel centre cap
- Kidney Grilles with BMW i Blue design."
I don't like the look of it at all, and would prefer black! When I ordered the car back in February they were all black.
It looks like the configurator is now updated so you can deselect the iperformance styling. However it looks like I now have no option but to have blue because the order has already been placed :-(
The upside is that after placing my order in February the car is now in production :-)
