I've had mine fitted by ChargedEV. Turned up when they said and fitted it quickly and without issue.
Looks decent too...now I just need a car.....>3 weeks till it gets to the dealership biggrin

Any reccomendations for home charging sockets people? smile Thank you in advance smile
Hi
The 'ChargedEV' website seems to be quite popular but some members have quoted unreliable promises on installation dates. However the site seems to offer some of the best prices around . A variety of marketing discounts are typically on offer , so ensure you use them if placing an order.

I've managed to secure a 7kw unit free through 'ElectricNation' who are working on behalf of the electricity companies in the Midlands , South Wales and the South West. You need to sign up to a project that commits you to sharing some charging data , i.e. where and when etc , but it's all through an app and is quite straight forward. you do need to purchase a charger lead, which isn't a great hardship as your need one for public charging anyway.
The electric nation looks interesting. Think I may look into joining that. Thanks for the info smile

Thanks for the info on electric-nation, very interesting. I've just signed up and hopefully will get the charger for free too.

So, a month in and here's some observations.....

Absolutely love the car, best bits:
Acceleration
Not diesel
Sound of silence
Sound of the HK
The 19" alloys look the business
The looks
Acceleration again
IDrive
Esotril blue
250bhp
40+mpg in petrol mode
99+mpg daily during commute

The draw backs

Wishing I had took the professional media option
The app

Thoughts

There is nothing like the sound of Baba O'reilly (The Who) full blast, whilst bombing along a country lane, racing the 21yr old in his Golf Gti, leaving him stunned at a junction as I pulled away smile

But total buyers remorse not adding the professional media package, apparently a lot of the mileage tracking features, such as average mpg (above 99mpg) only come with professional.

Evening all, awaiting my delivery of my 330e, ordered 4/1/17 was due on the 16/4 and found out today it's been pushed back until the end of May. Iv gone for the sport (kind of wished I'd gone m sport) version with the 19" alloys in Mineral Grey, anyone got something similar with some pics?

Hi, apologies if this has been mentioned previously, I'm a newbie here. I'm about to order a 330e M Sport through my company scheme using Leaseplan. With some discount the HK system can be installed for under £650. Would welcome views on whether this is worth the extra given it's leased and also being very ignorant to the capabilities of the standard sound system. All views most welcomed

I have the standard sound system. It's no worse than any other sound system I have had in a modern car. It depends on your need for volume I guess, a HK system would blast out with less distortion. But then I only listen to Radio 2 mostly and the odd bluetooth playlist via Spotify smile. For me the standard system is perfectly adequate for day to day use. As a company car driver I had to pick my options carefully, and the HK system was right at the bottom of the list for me. I did choose the Pro Nav system with widescreen and enhanced features, I would miss that for sure.

Thanks for your feedback, and very valid given your a company car driver as well, it is a question of priorities on the 'wishlist' I would largely be listening to Spotify tbh. I'm changing from a Renault Grand Scenic on our scheme (new addition to the family at the time...) which does have a fabulous Bose system and I'm wondering whether I would miss that. Will keep the debate going in my head until that final order is placed

Just to appease you that's not true, the in car display is capped to ##.# digits for some reason. Through the app you can see per trip stats which indeed may go higher than that but not in the car.

The only differences really are Split Screen & the HDD (which no one would use nowadays anyway). Personally I regret spending the extra ~20 a month on speccing it!

I agree - I had the HK system in the 535 which just went back. It was nice, but the 330e has to be under £40k and I was more interested in M Sport brakes and the ProNav and nice wheels that a bit of extra boombox in the stereo. I mostly do Radio 4 anyway

The HK was a must in my family, , we are all music lovers and the 16 speakers ( don't know what the standard is ) delivers a fantastic sound , whatever the volume selected . It all came part of the M Sport Plus package with everything else I wanted. Plus a £340 saving if selected separately

Leaseplan MSport with HK here (and interior comfort pack to get split folding rear seat plus extras like the heated steering wheel and seats at a very small lease premium on split seat alone). Had an Audi before this and a standard 3 series (previous model) before that. HK is awesome in comparison so if you can stretch to it would highly recommend it - but I tend to play CD quality music/lossless rips and not low res MP3 so might depend on your listening, though even basic Bluetooth audio and radio will sound significantly better imho

If you scroll back a few pages there are a few in mineral grey including mine but all m sports I think.

A just got the low coolant warning message. Can anyone tell me which anti freeze to use - the manual is as much use as a chocolate teapot "not all commercially available additives are suitable for the vehicle"

Pop in to the dealer and they should do it on the spot. Mixing different kinds of coolant is a bad idea: can be completely different chemical makeup.

Thanks will pop there Monday - it's the ICE coolant that's on or just below minimum by the looks of it. Electric is on max

Happened to mine when newish. I think the same coolant does both motors.
