I'm confused!

From this:

would I be right in saying that even though LED headlights may be standard, you don't get the angel eyes daytime running lights?

I don't have the adaptive and mine are the angel eyes daytime runners, so not sure if that image is just to push you to get the extra pack by suggesting they don't have the daytime runner angels.

Anyone who deleted M Sport suspension have any feedback. Are you happy with the decision. Especially interested in people who have driven both with and without.

Most of my driving is town and prefer comfort over performance.

thanks

I deleted the M sport suspension, wheels are 18" running conti runflats.

I'm happy with the decision as my car rarely does anything than my Mway/DC commute. On the rare back road thrash it does lack a bit of body control/composure. Swings & roundabouts I suppose.

I haven't driven one with the sport suspension to compare it to.

Approx 2 weeks now b4 my car arrives....although I'll believe when I see!

It's at "pre-EU port of exit" which means buggar all to me but is apparently just sat in Bremerhaven port waiting for a boat.

I've been watching the port quite a bit via the webcam but haven't the foggiest what ship I'm looking out for. Kind of like waiting around a bus stop not knowing what destinations the buses arriving are actually heading to.

Always nice to hear though that in all the time I've been bloody waiting the car is now cheaper (as a company car - but not for me) and is now higher spec but with the M Sport Shadow Edition available that I could've ordered had I known was coming out. By the time I get mine they'll be taking orders on the new G20 knowing my luck!.

Come on BMW....throw me a fricken bone here....how about sending me the Shadow Edition at no extra charge for making me wait half a year tongue out

Anyone know if it's true that the digital
cockpit can't be added to the 330e?

Also the link above says reversing camera is now standard. Is that right?

True - according to the price list, digital cockpit is an option at £295 on all models except the 330e.

I believe the reversing camera is standard only in the US market and is a £330 option in the UK.

i have the m sport on 18" run flats with m sport suspension and find it fine - smoth and comfortable ridfe in eco and comfort, firm and sporty in sport / +

I had an s-line A3 before this with s line suspension, and the previous model 3 series SE tourer on run flats before that - the 330e on m sport suspension is much smoother and better than both so i wouldn't stress about the m sport suspension

For what it's worth, I test drove an se and found that the suspension, lack of body roll around bends and general comfort was perfect. I currently drive an a3 saloon s line and it's got s line suspension, which again, is fine, not hard particularly, but I do a lot of motorway miles and whilst it's not hard, it's not exactly what you'd call compliant either. My brother has a 330e msport on 18's and he says it's a bit hard, which means it's hard but he doesn't really want to admit that.
So for those reasons, I've ordered a 330e msport on standard 18's and deleted msport suspension. I've also included interior comfort pack and lumbar support to try and fix my broken lower back😀.

I can't wait for September now, but I'm just wondering what car I'm going to get, with the i drive changes etc., will it be touch screen?. I ordered way back in March. Does anyone know?

It would depend on when your car goes into production. If after week 28 (mid July), which yours should be if September delivery, I would bet that you will get the upgrades, including updated iDrive.

I was told by a dealer when discussing my order that it will have the updated drive, but the 3 series will not be touch screen as standard.

My M sport is on 19"s but when spec'd thankfully deselected M sport suspension, rides lovely.

Here too, M Sport on 19" and with deleted M suspension.

I had the suspension on my two previous 3s and while I was ok with it (pretty used to hard suspensions) I did find in incredibly harsh in town and over bumps, and that was with 18", and the pre LCI setup which was slightly softer than the current one.

Decided to try without (after a weekend test drive) and no regrets.

My 330e was built 2 weeks ago, awaiting shipment. You think it will be possible to update the iDrive at the dealer afterwards? If there is coming a new version with the september cars.

I kept m sport suspension mainly for ride height. If you remove it as my boss has on his the car sits higher and doesn't look right imho... the ride is firm but comfortable and my trade off was to keep to 18" rims

You ordered on 25th May and was built 2 weeks ago? If so that was a quick build at under 4 weeks?

Best to ask the dealer about the iDrive upgrade.

I've got M Sport Suspension on 19" 403M Wheels and find the ride very comfortable. Moved from a Leon FR 184 with 18" wheels so am use to firm suspension. Wouldn't delete the M Sport Suspension due to ride height, it's one of the most comfortable cars I've driven.
