I know when you hold down the locking button on the key fob, it closes all the windows, folds the wing mirrors and the sunroof too. Sorry now for sounding a bit nieve here, Only yesterday, I found out if I hold down the open button on the key fob, it opens all the windows and sunroof too. Learn something new everyday, anyone else got any " I didn't know that facts on the car"
On mine I found an extra 12 volt power socket hidden under the glove box facing down to the passengers seat. Handy for a phone charger. Had the car 9 months before I knew it was there! In terms of other useful but not obvious features I've discovered through the forum :-
- Siri/ok google button on steering wheel for phone calls, texts, music etc (android phones need to enable Bluetooth voice control as it's off by default)
- programmable buttons and the fact that they display the programmed function if you touch them when you can't remember which is which
- long pull on down paddle for overtaking
- tailoring the dash display to reduce the number of things to scroll through
- pre conditioning timers in car or through the app, essential in winter for comfort and to maximise electric miles. Note time is departure time, the car works out how long before that to start the pre conditioning
- pushing stick to manual turns off stop start so can be useful if very low on battery (and for drag races unless you're doing the max e-drive Sport version of that)

Picked up my 330e Msport today (ordered end of March). Great first impressions. I think it has the new Idrive as it has the 3 tiles. It also has a leather dash (or leather look), is that normal or part of the minor facelift? Looks great though...
Very happy!
I've got the 8.8 screen with the new iDrive (touch wheel) but there are 6 tiles. Very happy!
Dash isn't leather unless you spect one from the Individual option list...
Enjoy the car, it's fab!

I went with charged EV, got the universal (needing a seperate cable) charger installed a week or so ago, decent job, tidy install, biggest problem was it took three attempts to get it installed as they kept cancelling on me.
Worth using I'd say.
Thanks for the info, helpful feedbackWorth using I'd say.

Apparently these are the factory build status codes:
1100 Scheduled
1200 Scheduled for Production
5000 Confirmed for Production
5050 Chassis Number Allocated
5055 Confirmed by Production Control
5100 Bodyshop Start
5190 Bodyshop Complete
5200 Paintshop Start
5270 Paintshop Complete
5300 Pre-Assembly Start
5400 Assembly Start
5500 Assembly Complete
6000 Transfer to Distribution
8200 Released to Carrier
9000 Departed Plant
9615/35/45 In Storage
9610/20/30/40/50/60 In Transit
9800 Arrived Dealer
Last Friday I was told that it was at 5055 Confirmed by Production Control, and that that build would start in week 32 (next week) but it's now at 5200 Paintshop Start, so would that be classified as early?
Does anyone know/have experience of how long it takes to get through the 5000 codes before reaching the 9600 codes?
Thanks
Mine is currently 1100 with an estimation of week 51 long way away (due to lease scheduling) but seems real now1100 Scheduled

Mine took just over 2 weeks from the start of production to arriving in the UK. Sadly it's been awaiting dispatch to dealer for 5 days now, so close yet so far.Car is on order delivery in October hopefully when my current lease ends and am starting to think about getting a charging point installed so its ready.
currently looking at ChargedEV who have Rolec tethered for £149 or there own badged product at £199 (after £50 discount) for the tethered version. Both include the Gov grant.
Can anyone give recommendations on the above options or even an alternative.
Thanks

I got 2 EO chargers installed, one 7.2kW at work and a 3kW one at home, cost my company £2k with the grant (to be fair there was a lot of work involved in the company install).
Tidy charging units but they flash bright blue in standby, had to put tape over the one at home so it didn't get any unwanted attention at night

Thanks, Looking at the tethered solution it doesn't look like there is the ability to store the cable.Tidy charging units but they flash bright blue in standby, had to put tape over the one at home so it didn't get any unwanted attention at night
Mine's now waiting to go on a boat scheduled for week 34 delivery. I'm going to wait until 1 September for the new 67 plate.
I downloaded the Driver's Guide App using the VIN and found the running-in instructions: Upto 2000 km/1200 miles do not exceed 4500 rpm and 160 km/h or approx. 100 mph, so no real hindrance.

Had a call last week to drop the car in for a 2 hour software update ( bought new in Feb ). Anyone else get a call ? Am wondering what it's about as dealer was reluctant to give any details on the phone...
I took mine in yesterday to have it done. The dealer did mention the word "recall" - I guess they don't want to go into specifics if there were actual faults. It feels a nippier, I swear they've changed the ECU slightly. Maps/Nav were updated with newer data & it no longer buggers up when using my iPhone over bluetooth.
