BMW 330e ordered...

Morning all
Nearly at the ordering point for the 330e now, had a lovely 520d SE on test but the BIK saving is too good to miss up on the 330e at the moment, on the configurator it says e models get split folding rear seats, but my lex configurator says they are chargeable, anyone had one delivered lately with them fitted?

They were an option for me when I ordered mine at the end of July (approx £250) but they were at that time included in the comfort pack option. All the time I was looking at options and researching the car the split seats were never standard, even an option on my last 3 series.Nearly at the ordering point for the 330e now, had a lovely 520d SE on test but the BIK saving is too good to miss up on the 330e at the moment, on the configurator it says e models get split folding rear seats, but my lex configurator says they are chargeable, anyone had one delivered lately with them fitted?
It is wierd.
If you try to buy a bog standard 330e with no options whatsoever on the BMW configurator then the split rear seats will be included as a no cost option when you reach the end.
However, i was on Genius chat earlier on the order status of my car and I asked if split folding rear seats are now standard. The response was that it's still a £250 option and corresponds to all price lists I have seen, including the latest July 2017 one with the Shadow Editions I obtained from the dealer yesterday.

I have asked the lease company,
I also wanted to know if the 397 Jet black alloys came with mixed tyres like the normal 397 wheels do, on the configurator the normal ones state "mixed tyres" and jet black ones had no mention...the response I got back:
Glad we cleared up the tyres were black on both the front and back :-~)

For those regularly using the bundled brick charger here is some information from BMW. I had read reports of BMW refusing to replace faulty chargers due to overuse/misuse so I asked the Genius chat people. It took about a week to get a response but here is what they said.
"Thanks for contacting Customer Services about your BMW, and your patience whilst I’ve looked at this.
I’ve spoken with my colleagues to find out more information about this for you – I’ve been advised that The Delphi Charger is supplied by BMW Retailers directly and is an official charger.
We recommend that the charger should be directly connected to the ‘mains plug’ not via an extension lead.
It is safe to use on a regular basis and won’t void the warranty – but, if you’re experiencing any problems you’d be best placed to get in touch with the Approved BMW Centre where it was sold.
I’m afraid BMW can’t comment on 3rd party forums."
So there are no restrictions on usage as long as you don't admit to using it on an extension lead (I don't). I am currently using mine twice per day during the week due to ChargedEV messing me about so much. I fitted my own outside socket in protest (and I had floorboards up)!

Thanks for the update on this as after much deliberation I've decided to go down the outside plug route rather than a dedicated charger so that's good to hear."Thanks for contacting Customer Services about your BMW, and your patience whilst I’ve looked at this.

The big day has finally arrived. 9.30 collection! Will post some pictures in the next few days.
Congratulations! Looking forward to the pics.Mine's landed in Southampton and on it's way to the dealers. BMW's own system estimated delivery from 23rd August, but dealer via leasing company initially offered 4th September then put back till 11 September! Not happy - have requested leasing company to bring it forward to 1 September.
Well 5 months and 14000 miles in and first trip to the garage for a drivetrain fault. Not a great failure rate at the moment, we have 3 on our fleet and all 3 have been into dealers for repairs, updates and who knows what.
Will have to see whats wrong, all i can see is the error message and it's running really cool.

I'm now 14 months in and coming up to 30,000 trouble free motoring. I had 2 new rear tyres at 27,000 and although the fronts are wearing unevenly on the outside, Slow-Fit could not fix the tracking due to being a hybrid. A colleague has the same uneven wear on his fronts as well. Love the car but struggle with cases when going on hols, we end up having 3 people in the back and 2 of the large cases in the front seat which is a nuisance. Still get a real buzz from the power compared to previous cars. I rarely charge it but with steadying driving, have been getting around 44mpg since its 1st service
