2.2-2.4 all round.
Got a full maintenance lease through work including tyres, so not bothered if they were to wear quickly, but if it was my own car and tyres being upwards of £200 a corner, i'd be happy with the progress so far
Hmm that's lower than me, but If mine were over inflated they'd be wearing in the middle! FWIW I run 39 front, 42 rear (guide says 35-41 front 38-44 rear).Got a full maintenance lease through work including tyres, so not bothered if they were to wear quickly, but if it was my own car and tyres being upwards of £200 a corner, i'd be happy with the progress so far

It does - but only for single trips. So for example you can't put in a journey to and from work and let it work out the optimum electric use taking into account the return leg.
For me it's not a big deal the way my commute works out anyway, and not sure how much of a faff it is putting in multi step journeys if you have pro nav
I thought that business nav specifically didn't use the route to guide it how to use the ICE and battery most efficiently. That was my understanding of pro nav: it will look at the route, and look at urban areas etc. and plan to use battery more in those segments. I haven't done enough longer trips to determine though. For me it's not a big deal the way my commute works out anyway, and not sure how much of a faff it is putting in multi step journeys if you have pro nav
What I can say though is that pro nav also doesn't do anything sensible with multi-destination trips. It takes the first waypoint as your destination, and will use battery based on that - I guess making an assumption that you'll be able to charge when you stop. Rather short-sightedley I might add.
The only way I know of to get it to do all of a return trip, or indeed any multi-destination trip, is to use MyRoutes or whatever it's called. You have to set start and destination quite close together, and then drag the route to include your actual destination. It treats this as a turning point rather than a waypoint: a way of telling it which route to use basically.
Another poster, can't remember who, said the car seemed to learn if you do a regular commute and didn't charge at one end, and left about half the battery for the return leg.

My understanding of the system is that adding stops (intermediate destinations) like that will cause the car to still consider the current leg of that journey as your whole trip for battery usage planning.
If you use the online journey planner you can do as you said and set the start and end close to each other, but then instead of adding a stop between them you can just 'click and drag' the route to include your intended destination. I haven't fully verified this alters the behaviour of the car but I believe it does.
Search for "BMW Routes", and the first result should be the one you want; there should then be a 'plan your own routes' link which will take you to the journey planner. At the top there's a 'login for connected drive users' link, and once logged in you should be able to send that trip to the car.
You can then somehow get at it from iDrive, I forget exactly where.
I've tried doing this, setting start and destination close together, but I can't drag the route from between the two! I can only drag the start or end point, which seems to defeat the object? Or are you supposed to set THREE very close together points, then drag the middle point to the desired destination for a return journey? If you use the online journey planner you can do as you said and set the start and end close to each other, but then instead of adding a stop between them you can just 'click and drag' the route to include your intended destination. Circa 5.5 metres. Not sure if you can make out where it is plugged in, the yellow changes to black and it’s on the central pillar etc .
Thanks mate, I think my socket is more than 5 metres away. Is it possible to use a standard extension cable or do I need to get a socket fitted closer?Edited by Ace1968 on Thursday 23 November 20:48

Just ensure they’re unwound and not left coiled which could generate too much heat and cause a fire risk.
Standard run of the mill extensions aren’t to be relied upon as they’re not robust enough.
Plenty of PHEV owners are making do with their granny chargers and extension cables rather than fit a dedicated charging unit.

Does anyone know how much the 19” alloys will affected the co2 by? Just been informed by my co car provider that they will push the car above the 49 g/km limit and will bvs to pay 13% tax instead of 9%
If you select and order a 330e M Sport Shadow Edition on BMW’s website the BIK is 9% and 49.0 g/km. That model comes with 19” alloys. Although in the 2018/2019 it rises to 13% BIK anywayEdited by sevensevenmx on Monday 27th November 17:28

Well I have contacted BMW Sytner and they have informed me that it is 44g/km.
The co car provider basically said that as the car was already at 49 that the 19” wheels would push the emissions to at least 51g/km which would push me into the next tax bracket.
Not sure who to believe to be honest

It's whether you are likely to win an argument against your co car provider or not I guess. 18's not an option? The co car provider basically said that as the car was already at 49 that the 19” wheels would push the emissions to at least 51g/km which would push me into the next tax bracket.

Car was delivered yesterday and I’m absolutely delighted with it so far.
The charging cable that comes with it doesn’t reach my socket in the garage however I’ve used a heavy duty 13a extension that seems to charge the car no problem without overheating.
I’m having real issues with the bmw connected app on iPhone though. I’ve connected to the car however can’t see any analysis on fuel consumption from my journey to work this morning also the app states the car is still located at home. Anyone else had similar issues?
