I made the mistake of logging into our company car scheme portal (my log on still worked) and the 330e had dropped massively in cost, I had to order Sport trim with a few option, i could have now if ordering got a shadow edition with pretty much anything, serves me right for looking :-(
They kill our access the minute we have confirmed, I was desperate for Shadow Edition or M Sport but they weren't an option at the time, glad they kill our access now smile

I also have Sport trim

Sorry to use Reply but i cannot see how to post a new question!
Have a 2016 330e SE and I think my Front PDC is playing up, if i break and drive slow up to a wall the Front warning does not kick in, i think it used to.
It works if i engage Reverse or push the button next to gear shift.
What do your cars do, the BMW agent says i need to press the button for Front activation this seems ODD/

As far as I recall, that's the correct functionality of the front PDC.

That’s correct operation otherwise it would be going off all the time in traffic queues

Normal procedure or it would be beeping very time you get close to the car in front when in stop start traffic.

I have a 2017 330e m-sport and the front sensors automatically kick in when parking, no button pushing or putting the car into reverse.

Mine doesn’t- how would it differentiate between you parking and stuck in a line of traffic

Yeah mine needs the button pressed to activate the fronts, the only exception is when I initially put it in drive, but once I get over x speed, that drops out.

Mine will keep the fronts on if I've just reversed, untill a certain speed, is that what you mean?

Evening all.

I’ve just put my order in for a 330e for my new company car. Unfortunately we are not able to order any options so a box standard M Sport spec in white with black leather. This will save me £120 a month instead of a 420d M Sport Gran Coupe I was looking at. Hoping the lead times are not too bad, my replacement is due in June so may have to keep my current car if lead time is longer.

Test drove one a couple of weeks back and was very impressed, much better that my Seat Leon diesel FR I’ve currently got.

I do have a question regarding the pre-conditioning, if it’s plugged in will it warm the interior to a set temperature?

Thanks

Hi, it will work even if not plugged in, but you'll need to have sufficient charge to enable it. My system was at 51% when I parked up last night and I didn't charge. I conditioned the car to leave at 07:48 and when I got in the battery was at 36%, with all windows clear of the frost and the inside a toasty 20 degrees. It was so cold outside I had to yank my door a few times to get it open. A short 4 mile round trip to my daughter's school and home couldn't be completed on battery with ICE kicking in at the half way point.

Drove into my parking space at work this morning, no reversing, no button pushing as soon as I get near
the wall at the front the beeping starts.

I googled this but found nothing so I though you guys might be able to help.

Since the beginning of the year I've had this display twice, the first time I thought it was a random thing and didn't worry but it did it again today so maybe its the start of a problem, both times it cleared when the car was stopped and restarted.

Well
Coolant light been on for a few weeks, turns out new radiator is needed as hole appeared from a stone.
Currently awaiting approval for repair from fleet company as for some reason they think it's been done on purpose.

I think I had the same when the battery was low and all electrics on etc. Have also had a couple of random cases of the EML coming on but it goes out after a day or so.

A couple of my colleagues have had water leaks on higher mileage cars, both were put down to stone damage. It does seem a little odd as we have all run diesel 3 Series before for a lot higher miles and never had anything similar.

I had a low temp rad replaced under warranty. I asked if it was accidental damage (stone etc) they were very dismissive of that possibility and it was a warranty job...
