BMW 330e ordered...
Discussion
thanks guys , appreciate the comments. She does have her own small car run around , but like me, loved the way the 330e drove.
Interestingly, I still have control over the car via the app even though it’s been sent off to the salvage company. I wonder what happens in the normal situation where the car moves onto a second owner ? I assume when someone else tries to register against the VIN , it deletes your access?

Have any 330e owners installed a dash cam yet? Looking into getting a Blackvue 2Ch and having it hard wired to the ignition teamed up with the power magic pro box.
Just need to check with the dealer, but I don't think a hardwired dashcam should affect my warranty??? :S
I have a forward and rear facing Nextbase 512G dash cam in mine. I didn't bother hard wiring either as there's a spare 12V socket in the passenger footwell and another in the boot. The wire is easily hid under the roof lining and down the side of the door. The 12V supply remains on for approx. 10 mins after locking the doorsJust need to check with the dealer, but I don't think a hardwired dashcam should affect my warranty??? :S
Thanks.

Similar spec to mine, although mine isn't shadow line as it's 18 months old. It goes back in September and this spec is what I'd have been getting had they not stopped building the blooming car so I'm not bitter at all :-)
Enjoy, looks stunning.
What standard spec is in the shadow line? My estoril msport is nearly 2 years old and still as enjoyable as the day I got it. The spec must be similar.Enjoy, looks stunning.
Mplus gave me HK surround, 442m alloys, msport brakes, hi beam assist + tinted glass. Comfort pack for heated front seats, steering wheel and split rear seats. Also folding rear headrests, folding mirrors and the parking package in case my wife drove it lol. She never has
If I could have had a decent cloth seat and not the standard crap bmw 'leather' I would not have the heated seats.

My dealer botched the order and it came with black cloth seats- I refused to accept it and they got a third party to recover the seats. As a result I have a very close match to coral but the leather is much nicer than the standard BMW- must have cost the dealer a fair bit!DragonflyTrumpeter said:

I specced mine up with HK, nav+, comfort pack, grey alloys, mirror pack, windscreen tint and the dash time to piano black. Nothing I would really add or take away.

Any of you had the pleasure yet of having to replace the charging module?
My charging cable somehow got locked in the socket during one of the colder nights, couldn't get it released even using the green plastic cable under the bonnet. Engineer arrived and released it, but then it would lock in place when I locked the car. So off to BMW to look at it and they changed the whole socket and flap. Interestingly they had the same problem on the same day, Hopefully these were one-off problems, (two off!!)Robv1 said:

BMW took my car @ 4 months old, had it for 6 weeks and allegedly fitted a whole new battery set up. Never heard if the charging module was a problem. But then, they never told me anything and I did not even know where the car was for a month and a half.BMW UK lied through their teeth from the day my car left the usual dealership it was returned to so point asking them now I suppose....

Thanks- think you are right in that the car defaults to the previous preset departure time. When I turned the engine off had to click on charge immediately. Cheers
ummm still ad hoc setting to a departure time when set to immediate charge. Cleared everything but still doing it randomly.Gassing Station | EV and Alternative Fuels | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
