Why?
I think he means as the 68 plate is out in September.I am having to get the lease company to look for another cancelled order one for me as I had my second one delivered in May but it has been written off following an accident earlier in the week.

I’m guessing this has been asked before but can anyone recommend a specific type 2 - type 2 charging cable? There are quite a lot on the market but didn’t know if anyone has had some break or stop working.
And would I need a 16 or 32 amp? I can’t find any info online.
Also does anyone have a polar or pluggedinmidlands subscription? Do you think they are worth the £7.85 p/month and are the charge stations usually reliable?
Thanks

I would say that you would have to charge your car fully from below 10%, at least 10 times a month to break even on the £7.85 a month cost to use the charge points.
I don’t know why BMW don’t give you the type 2 charger cable as well as the 3 pin one they give you as standard. I’ve not seen any charge points that have the 3 pin plug ( please someone give me a site that does). If I paid say £140 for a type 2 cable, I would have to use a free to use point over 200 times to get my money back compared to using it at home on 10p a KWH tarrif.
Makes no sense to pay for a type 2 charge cable and subscriptions to charge points unless your using them every day from a below 10% battery. The realistical battery range of 10 - 18 ( 20 max on a non stop 30-40 mph run) is too poor to make your money back.
What features do you wish your 330e had?
I've had my car for nearly 9 months. Here's my list:
- radio off on door opening (now fixed by coding)
- auto radio volume mute/lower on reverse
- change kerb dipping mirror angle on reverse (kind of fixed by coding)
- sunglasses holder (fixed by swapping drivers grab handle for a holder)
- faster wing mirrors defrost
- quickclear heated windscreen
- m-sport steering wheel (I have the "sport")
That's all for now

Anyone know if the engines needing running in on these?? Just wondered how long it takes if the engine doesn’t always run
In theory yes, just like any other car. I did a proper engine break-in with mine.Steven.Willerby said:

From the Drivers Guide app:
Running in
Up to 2,000 km - do not exceed the maximum engine revs and speed: 4,500/min & 160 km/h
From 2,000 km engine & road speed can be gradually increased
Just beware kickdown - even if its in max edrive it will start the engine and instantly rev the nutz off the engine from stone cold.Running in

Have done a couple of night runs over the last few days (Norwich to Southampton last night) and the lights are great as a driver but I have noticed quite a few lorries flashing whilst coming the other way on the motorway so I assume the beam is not cutting down as it should.
yeh mate thats why i dont really bother on the motor way, it all depends on the barrier position again on coming traffic. much better on the a/b roads. they turn off instantly as car comes around the corner facing youSomebody said:

I wish the sat nav would mute itself automatically when I’m on a phone call. I've had my car for nearly 9 months. Here's my list:

My last BMW did that.
