I see a few of you have one. They seem to have some really good deals at the moment. My missus commute is 90 miles round trip. A roads and dual carriageway.

Is this possible on a single charge?

Easily if you get the 30 kWh model.

From what I've been reading on SpeakEV, this will be really tight on cold or wet days in the winter. Nissan do a 4 day test drive though, so why not borrow one and try it for a couple of days?

Flat route vs hilly also makes a big difference to range.

I swap a 24kwh model to a 30 next week. Toying with the idea of a 100 mile drive (charge at destination). Maybe with a tail wind?!

Wait till June apparently at my local dealer for a 4 day test drive. Have one for a day next week going to try the commute. See how we get on!

On some of the cold, wettest days over the winter ive only managed 60 miles and been down at a few % battery - mine is a 24kw leaf so minimum range would be 75 miles on a 30kw. Mine is a mix of town, country and mway driving at 70 with heating on. Range anixety is a real issue!

Just got our 30KW tekna, did 93 mile on way home with single battery. Went from 100% to just about 15%

Most of that was in B-eco without the heating/aircon doing 50-55MPH for max most the way (got foot down closer to home once the range said I would make it)

Would be a bit sole destroying doing that day in day out I think, in depths of winter sat in full winter gear with a hot water bottle up your jumper checking the range vs distance every 3 mins at 50MPH

Have a look on zap-map and see if there are any carparks with chargers at them near her work to top up. We've got one at the office but there's quite a few multi-storeys and park & rides with em around Nottingham that are free if you just pay parking.

what the sales chappie told me on Friday when I got ours was:

its only at 80% as that's what the fast charger can put in.

secondly, the car is calculating yr driving style: so it needs to collect miles/data before it will give accurate typical ranges. I don't think in the real world it will do 155 miles- but 100/120 is more than enough for us as a day to day run about.

Range on a 24kwh model is a reliable 60 miles in my experience. So in a 30kwh version, I wouldn't rely on doing any more than 75 miles.
