How difficult is that 2 get charging station on your street?

Did anyone living in London with no driveway try to get local council to put a charging station on their street? How difficult is that, how long time does it take?

My guess is somewhere between slim chance and no chance - its all sub-contracted so the provider will need to see lots of demand ie public access not one-off personal station

A friend of mine lives in Twickenham, 3 people in 1 street applied to local council they now have the 3 pods they requested, in not that many weeks.
