I'm looking at one of these for my company car but forgot to check on the test if the pram would fit in the boot.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the boot? Especially the depth at the lowest point. Need it to be over 33cm to fit the pram (bugaboo chemelon) in with out messing about with the wheels. Dealer & BMW genius unable to help so far...

Boot is very small compared to standard 5 series. When I test drove one it was closer to the 3 series in dimensions. Doubt a pram would get in there.

I was worried about the space as I have an F11 now. It is a narrow opening but fine for most normal activities, I will have to get a roof box for the family holidays but the tax saving will pay for this in the 1st month. I'd go and take a look if you have a big pram, ours is a Joolz and will fit without wheels coming off but not much room for anything else. Google 530e boot space and you'll get some images if you cant get to see one.

Be prepared for a long wait, ordered July, expected Jan.

Cheers Golli,

do you know what model Joolz? The size of prams is pretty easy to find, will give me some idea if the bugaboo will fit.

It's a joolz day similar to a bugaboo. I'd definitely try to take a look at a local dealer if you can't get a test drive.

Should be ok then :
Joolz Day - Folded 85 x 62 x 37 cm.
Bugaboo - folded 90 x 60 x 30.5 cm

The C4 Grand Picasso is avoided!! :-)

I have this car and have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. Plenty of room for most things (and that's coming from an A6 Avant).

We occasionally use a double buggy which fits fine and room to spare.

Sorry I do not know if your Bugaboo would fit however I would get the car regardless. Change the buggy if you have to...

The 530e is epic.....it really is. Just make sure you get the split fold seats though.
