Don't mention his name - I don't think he's discovered this corner of PH yet. We're LPG free!

Had to laugh at his indignation when he realised there was more than one EV-related thread on the whole of PH. And then he got shirty because the OP of one of those threads in GG hadn't made it clear that there was more than one EV thread. Comedy gold. God knows what's going to happen when he discovers this sub-forum. Ironically, LPG belongs here, as an alternative fuel....

This is quite a hilarious failure of Wuzzle to grasp statistics. Well done.

I assume he lives on his own and thinks everyone else in the whole country does too, including children and babies.

Or he is a Half Term Halfwit?

I agree - living in Scotland public charging remains free -so well worthwhile, but on a recent trip south of the border, with 8 charges I factored in that it would have been cheaper to take my diesel car.

However - I'm a strong believer in EV's and they will continue to improve the infrastructure, and the batteries so it's all good. Progress doesn't come cheaply.

Incidentally it appears the Mr Wuzzle's posts have been removed - he does appear to have jogged on!
Hardly surprising with sanctimonious fkwits like you shouting him down.

With off peak charging at just under6p per KWH, by i3 is costing the equivalent of 50p per gallon and it’s bloody quick with a range of around 200miles (REX)

Unlike the many beliebers on here, rather than just pulling some figures out of my rear end I thought I'd do some actual research.

Homes in the UK with either a garage or driveway - roughly 15 million.

Population of the UK - 66 million.

Hardly the 80% I've seen quoted elsewhere.

Who knew?
You may what to do some research using credible data rather the website you point to...according to that website

"Even though 80% of EV owners have access to home charging, 93% use the public charge point network"

Really?? I've been driving EVs since 2015, I can tell you most EV drivers charge at home, no the other way round.
That being said, it doesn't state that they are using public charging instead of charging at home. That might be the implication some may take from the statement, but it could equally be that 93% use the public charging point network as well as at home, or maybe they use them more frequently but for shorter periods as a top-up. The statement on it's own is somewhat ambiguous and doesn't really offer much insight either way
