That's gone, sold a few weeks ago. I'm running a V90 T4 for 18 months on a lease until the affordable EVs become available. It's reduced my CO2 emissions slightly, and my particulate emissions massively.In any case there are far more effective ways of saving the planet than buying an EV.

Not sure if the conditions were exactly the same on his other videos when he tested the Model X and i-oace, but I think Bjørn measured the efficiency on the i-pace to around 10% better than these figures. Model X was 15% better.

I had a look around a IONITY 350kW charging station recently here in Switzerland. The cables weren't noticeably thicker than 'normal' fast chargers (I believe they're liquid cooled).I did find that 350kW chargers are now being rolled out in Germany though.
The big difference between them and other chargers is that each charger seems to have what looks like a small substation (or storage?)
Looks like it will charge at 150KW up to 80%, very impressive charging speed. Consumption was always going to be bad with such a conservative design, but the charging speed is very very impressive - probably the best EV on sale today, I doubt a CCS RHD Model 3 will do 150KW up to 80% SOC.
Size looks decent too, luggage space is only marginally less than our X, but no 7 seater option .
A very good EV by all accounts, I will be 100% keeping an eye on the Audi GT.

I believe the 'post' with the touchscreen, rfid reader and the cable storage bit is literally that, a dumb post. Usually the chargers are limited by current capacity; P=IV, so they've got to be closer to 200A than 100A, at ~400vDC.
I do remember seeing that the new rapid charger design from Volkswagen has something like a 30kW connection to the grid and ~350kWh worth of battery storage. So the grid connection can be sized according to the average load on the charger, rather than for the peak transfer of energy into the vehicle. Clever idea, and presumably quite graceful in use; if the battery storage goes flat then your charge rate would presumably drop to 30kW, but then if nobody charged for a while it'd be back up to full speed. Probably works well if they cover a service station roof with solar, or pop a couple of wind turbines nearby!

I'm guessing the 3 will taper off sooner on CCS, should start at 150kw I think, but even on 120kw supercharger you get roughly the same range per min as the etron would because of the difference in efficiency.

Bjorn got 370 on the iPace but the heater was broken. I dont think it was in as harsh conditions though. Funny it looks like both cars have around the same available energy (~82kwh) even though the e-tron has 5wkh more overall.
