Yes Model S/X owners get first dip, in total there cannot be more than 5K S/X owners in the UK, even if every single one ordered a 3 thats less than 1 weeks worth of production.
Just under 5000 (4756) for 2017 , so I am guessing ~15-20,000 in the uk?https://1reddrop.com/2018/06/16/tesla-sales-by-cou...
Doubt they will all buy a 3 though
According to this website around 11-11,500 total in the UK...

Somebody did some detailed number crunching on the uk owners group, it’s about 11000 in the uk, and registrations are about 25% down on last year in the UK.
Thats still alot more than what I thought were in the UK. Explains why I seem to pass a S/X daliy now.Still 11K is 2 weeks production for Model 3. I certainly don't think there are 11K people in the UK ready to drop £65-70k on a Performance 3 when it appears.
How many M3/RS4/C63s were sold in the UK last year? That will probably give an idea of the market for the top spec 3.

I'm going to to cancel mine. My circumstances have changed a lot since I ordered (no longer do huge mileage), and I was in NY this weekend and saw one in the flesh. It looked like an average eurobox saloon and lacked any presence.
Exactly they are as ugly as sin.Well the opposite of ugly as sin would be something like ‘beautiful and good’. Hardly what 98Elise said.
Bland, average, lacking presence, definitely would NOT stand out.
The US do still favour large cars so would be good to see it on UK roads.
