Due to a staggering lack of effort at finding a replacement (both MrsC and I are working our backsides off), we've decided to extend monthly from our collection date next month.
All done pretty informally over the phone, and keeping the same pro rate mileage.
Presumably you’re already at or over the contracted mileage limit and continuing/foresee doing the same amount of travelling for next few months? All done pretty informally over the phone, and keeping the same pro rate mileage.
My 18 months was up 2 weeks ago and I’ve only done 10,800 of the 12000 mile limit.
Let’s hope they’re ok with renegotiating mileage.

Probably have barely done half of what we expected due to a change in working arrangements, but c'est la vie.
I've asked TM to provide a charge sheet. Let's see what they come back with.
I know others have been unsuccessful.
I've also contacted BVRLA to ask if it's incumbent on their members to provide one, when requested, in the interest of transparency.
One of the worst experiences of leasing is the handing back. Aside from the disagreements over what might be inside/outside the guidelines, it's the exorbitant charges some levy, especially if you don't know them upfront.

Got my list of damages back today.
OS F/Bumper Local Paint £89.70
Wheel NSR Repair (Alloy Polished) £109.25
Wheel NSF Repair (Alloy Polished) £109.25
Total: £308.20
They're all fair cop, it's damage I knew about. Expected worse for the front bumper, plus I'd budgeted to go over the mileage but given COVID I ended up being under.

Just got my bill from TM for 225XE, a deep 25cm scrape on front bumper £83 + VAT. No charge for other scratches & dents. I had decided I accept up to £300 for the scrape, so well pleased. Glad I didn't get it fixed before. I think having the Sport model helped, the smaller Michelin tyres really do protect rims. My Mercedes B250e had the same Michelin's and didn't get charged for any rim damage after two years. I've curbed both cars loads of times.
Had 2 estimates for cost of refurbishing wheels. Bare in mind they’ve not seen them in the flesh, just based on photos.
They’ve quoted £90 & £100 per wheel.
So with three wheels to be done, it’s either £270 from the repairer or pay TM/PL nearly £400.
Quite a difference.
Can somebody remind me, do they come out and do a pre-inspection before collection or is the collection done same time as inspection?

They do a pre inspection up to 6 weeks beforehand iirc.
I don't want to jinx it, but a month later I've still not had an actual invoice for my alloy wheel damage. The last communication I had from them detailed the charges and said an invoice would follow... Fingers crossed!
You should be ok then. BVRLA state that they must inform you of any charges within 4 weeks. I don't want to jinx it, but a month later I've still not had an actual invoice for my alloy wheel damage. Not sure if there's any allowances because of COVID. If they do, throw this book at them

If the leasing provider intends to charge you for damage or missing equipment when the vehicle has been inspected, you must be advised of those charges no later than four weeks after the vehicle was returned. They must provide you with a summary breakdown of the charges, an explanation of how the charges have been calculated and photographic/video or other documentary evidence supporting why the charges have been made. You will also be advised how you can query the damage charges made.

Similar here.I've had previous leases (different company though) who advised of charges but never billed them.
just looking at my service indicator via the app.
I understand the date bit, so regardless of mileage, it needs a service in Sept. But does the mileage bit mean in another 11,000 miles or when the car odometer hits 11,000 miles??
Was hoping to hand back in August.
Contract states service needs to be done at dealership ;(
just had online quotes and it's £300 !!!
That's £40 for some "scope charge" and £260 for oil and microfilter.
So a couple of Qs regarding service
1) for those of you that handed it back when service was due - did you get it serviced at BMW dealership? if No, any issues raised by TM/PL
2) what is the scope charge, the BMW website doesn't explain it.
3) What is a microfilter and does the 225XE have one? The app only states Oil service but BMW website insists on Oil & microfilter.

Still not had an invoice, keeping my fingers crossed. Seems weird to send a charge sheet and not follow it through?

Thanks, buys me some time. Will service due light kick in on 1st Sept or from anniversary of when it was actually reset?
If it's Sept 2021 and you've got another 11,000 miles you should be good to avoid the service!
I think the service indicator will be based on the date of the last service.

Your last post said Sept 2021, are you planning to keep it for over a year? Or did you mean Sept 2020?

Car was delivered to me in mid Nov 2018 so I assume it must have had ECU connected in factory in Sept.
Just rang my local dealer and asked about this "Scope Charge". Basically it's the diagnostic fault check, s/w updates and resetting the service indicator. Scandalous. That should be included as standard. Even if they don't read fault codes, they should reset the service indicator.
